About Me
I live with my husband and three daughters in a large semi-detached Victorian house on the outskirts of Ellesmere Park and within 0.5 miles of Salford Royal Hospital and M602 junction 2.
I am committed to providing a happy and safe environment to children in my care and will give each child the opportunity to play, learn and develop whilst enjoying their time spent with me.
I provide healthy home made meals and a variety of snacks and encourage children to try new tastes from around the world. I have a dedicated playroom with an extensive range of toys, and equipment for all age groups. Children will also have access to a large secure rear garden equipped with a playhouse and variety of play equipment to encourage healthy active learning and development. We enjoy lots of craft activities and messy play to stimulate imagination, explore senses and refine fine motor skills. There are always lots of opportunities for one to one story & rhyme time together with fun........and usually noisy (the louder the better!) song time with musical instruments.
We have regular visits to local baby and toddler groups to socialise and bulid confidence and relationships with other children of similar ages as well as integrating with different backgrounds and cultures. As a childminder I have the flexibility to take children on outings to local libraries, parks, museums etc. and offer children a relaxed home from home environment when they just simply want some quiet time. I currently drop off and pick up from St Lukes Roman Catholic Primary School, St Johns primary School and Light Oaks Primary School but I may be able to accommodate other nurseries/schools if times permit.
I endeavour to work alongside parents and other settings such as nurseries to implement the Early Years Foundation Stage to ensure children are working towards the Early Years Goals for the birth to five age group. I provide parents with a comprehensive record and keepsake of each child's time spent in my care and welcome feedback from parents.
My Experience
I have been an Ofsted registered childminder since October 2007 and have been awarded 'Good' on three separate Ofsted inspections. I have attended a number of training courses in childcare and development and have current First Aid and Safeguarding Children certificates. Most importantly I am a mother myself in a home setting and I appreciate the trust parents place in my ability to care for their child and ensure they are happy and safe.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.00 per hour
I currently work 8 am - 5 pm and I charge £40 a day with an additional fee of £5 outside of these hours.
After school fee from 3 pm onwards will be £15 a day
I am happy to accommodate term time only.
