My name is Sharni. I have completed a level 3 for childcare and education, completed an apprenticeship while working at a nursery school.
Before that I ran my own childminding business. I am blessed with two amazing children. My daughter who is 20 years old and my little boy is 7 years. They are my everything and I fully understand the meaning of children’s needs being paramount.
I am extremely proud of my children, and all those children I have had the privilege of caring for and those I currently care for.
I am extremely house proud and take great care in cleanliness. Mindful of others needs. I am patient, friendly and love what I do. I am currently a temp and work at various nursery schools in the Berkshire area.
My DBS check is through my employer. I have a clear rating.
I enjoy taking pride in my appearance, being professional at all times. I like to lead by example. Respect your elders and treat people like you would want to be treated yourself are fundamental .
Without sounding full of myself, I provide a very high standard of childcare ensuring both the children and parents are happy at all times. Please feel free to ask me any questions. I have references of all the children that I have looked after. I’m very proud yet humble
My Experience
I have extensive experience in looking after children from newborn up until teenagers.
I have looked after children of my own, and ran my own childcare business for eight years. I have worked with babies at the nursery in Ascot.
I’ve also worked at a Bracknell nursery school for under five-year-olds. I am currently working as a temp for a childcare company and go to various nursery schools in the Berkshire area.
Once again I have references for all the children that I have looked after over the years. Gosh, some of them are grown up now, and it feels rather strange to see one of the little girls I used to look after is now a mum herself. Id like to think I stay young. I love having fun, laughing is just the best feeling.
I was born in South Africa and came to England with my husband and two-year-old daughter 18 years ago. I love the outdoors. Yes, even if it’s raining.
My Qualifications
I was registered through OFSTED in 2002. I successfully ran my own childminding business where I looked after children from six weeks old until eight years of age.
Experience working with children that have special needs.
Cash level three certificate in childminding OFSTED registered.
Paediatric emergency aid. Behaviour management. Working with parents course.
Did a training course on birth to 3 matters.
Fully police checked up-to-date. Completed level three diploma NVQ three in 2011.
Did an advanced apprenticeship in child care including maths and English.
Did a course on promoting equality, inclusion and diversity.
Registered with Bracknell Forest Homes and safety. I am fully qualified to carry out observations and arrange activities to the EYFS standards.
I completed a letters and sounds course in October 2011.
Completed attachments and key persons role course.
I fully support positive Outcomes for children and young people.
My Availability
Ideally, I would like to work two full days of eight hours each day. This can be discussed, and is not set in stone. I will need to work a minimum of 16 hours a week. Any days that suit you. Once again I am flexible to work around your needs

- Nannying from £10.00 per hour (gross)
I have done some research into what the average nanny rate would be with qualifications such as my own. I am very flexible so if you have more than one child I am happy to offer a lower rate for the second child. This is negotiable.
