About Me
My name is Gina I live with my husband Daniel we have been married for 33yrs and two daughters Connie 26 and Grace 22 I love my job working with children is something I wanted to do since leaving school, (a VERY LONG TIME ago!!) but went straight into the retail trade instead, until I had my children then a friend approached me about looking after her children so I did my courses while on maternity leave and have NEVER looked back. I enjoy keeping fit by walking EVERYWHEREand socialising.
My Experience
I am Ofsted registered I have an overall rating of GOOD, I have been childminding for 21yrs. I regularly attend courses to keep update with all aspects of childcare. I run a toddler group called Cheeky Monkeys, two days a week which is specially for Childminders, making sure the children have plenty to keep busy, which includes entertainment in the holidays such as Mr Froggity, Tom Foolery, we have Bouncy Caslte days in my back garden which involves a picnic lunch. We have done sponsered walks in aid of Dr Banardos, Chatterbox Challenge which involved learning "Nursery Rhymes" which the children thought was great fun. I visit various other playgroups, Happy Faces, Sonbeams, St. John’s church toddler group, also trips to Brighton Beach or the Sea Life Centre. We do LOTS of arts and crafts. Our daughter has been with Gina for just over 3 years now.
Gina has been very supportive with our daughter who has a speech disorder and selective mutism, but Gina makes she is always supported, involved, having fun and is comfortable and supports her interests.
One of the highlights of her week is going to Gina’s and having lots of fun there, it is a home away from home for her.
Gina keeps us up to date with photos of what our daughter has been up to which is always lovely to receive and is always doing fun creative stuff with the children i.e. different crafts to baking with them.
Our daughter loves bringing home what she has created and giving them to us.
Really grateful we found Gina for our daughter.

Gina has looked after my daughter since she was 10 months old and she is now 3. She has been such a brilliant childminder, I would thoroughly recommend her. She provides a home from home and always plans fun and messy activities the kids love. Her garden is such a lovely outside space for them in the summer, and she regularly attends a toddler group every week. The kids love her and we have always felt happy knowing our daughter is being cared for by Gina. I’ve only given 1 star for food because parents provide packed lunch.

Our daughter has been going to Gina’s for 3 years and she loves it. Gina provides a true home from home experience, where she welcomes the children into her family completely. She plans lovely activities each week, including days with other childminders at a local hall meaning the children can experience a larger group as well. Gina provides daily photo updates which our daughter loves looking through and telling us all about her friends and adventures.
From cooking, arts and crafts, sports days, trips to the fire station and visits from children’s entertainers, there is always something fun happening.
In the words of our daughter, “Gina is a star” and we feel so lucky to have her caring for our daughter.

Gina is so kind, fun, thoughtful and brilliant - she’s looked after our daughter after school for the last year and will also be looking after our son from September. Our kids feel so at home in her house, and we’re so lucky to have found her. Thank you Gina x

My son is 14 months has been going to Gina for just 5 months now. I was anxious about going back to work after maternity leave as my son didn’t like going to anyone else other than myself and my partner. However, Gina from the start has been so attentive, loving & supportive. My son absolutely loves Gina and has such a lovely bond with her. It’s home from home, the photos we receive with updates from their day is heartwarming. It’s been the best decision for our family, our son is so outgoing, confident & happy. Thank you Gina, highly recommended by us!!

Gina has had my daughter for 2 days a week since she was 9 months old, I had never considered a child minder before however it is the best decision we made! Gina has treated our daughter with nothing but love, care and patience and we will never be able to thank you enough! My daughter is about to start school in a couple of weeks so will no longer be with Gina, I cannot recommend Gina enough to any parent who want to ensure they are safe, taught and given an abundance of love.

We are so thankful that we came across Gina on this website! Choosing her to care for our daughter was the best decision we ever made. You only have to look at all the photos she has in her home of all the children she has cared for to know that she adores them.
Gina always welcomes us with smiles, warmth and positivity and is genuinely such a kind and happy person who has welcomed Marlowe into her family home. It's the best feeling to be able to leave your child with someone you trust and not even question if they are happy, safe and being properly cared for.
When Marlowe knows it's her day to see Gina her face lights up and she starts naming the whole family (Dan, Connie, Grace & Dave the dog), which is testament to how Gina and her family have created a home from home for the children in their care.
A few other important things to note:
Gina is a great communicator. She keeps us updated with beautiful photos and texts when needed.
She has a fantastic outdoor area with great provision.
She plans brilliant activities week after week - welly walks, cooking, arts & crafts, water play, small world - the list goes on!

My little tot (3 and a half) started with Gina a few months ago. Gina is always friendly, happy and outgoing it is evident when you arrive that all the children simply love her, including Connor. He was very shy and reserved, but she has managed to make his confidence shine over the weeks to the point where I have had many comments on the amazing change in him.
Gina keeps us updated on their routines, playtime and activities with photos and feedback. Connors always coming home with special crafts he’s very proud of. She is flexible, hardworking and makes you feel part of her little family.
If you’re looking for someone to entrust you precious bundle with, I cannot recommend this lady more, she is simply made to work with children and I commend her on a fantastic job.

Gina has looked after my 2 boys since they were babies (5 and 3 now). The moment Gina opened the door to me on the day we met, I knew within 3 seconds she would look after and love my babies.
Both my boys are clinging but I’ve never felt sad handing them over to Gina, because I know they’ll have heaps of fun and be loved.
I can’t thank Gina, Dan, Connie, Grace enough for making my boys and I feel like family. I wanted my boys to be cared for in a loving home environment which is exactly what Gina offers.

My son has been going to Ginas since he was 9 months old and he's now 3.
Gina is a fantastic childminder who generally cares about you're children and their welfare.
My son can be very clingy on occasions and sometimes needs extra attention when i first drop him off.... she's deals with this really well and I never feel worried about leaving him.
Cheeky Monkeys, the group that Gina runs is a great group for the children , its gives them space to play, learn and mix with other children.
Gina gives you regular updates via photos to you personally and the app little Footprints which Gina uses, shows you you're child's progress and photos of you're child doing activities.
I would never hesitate to recommend Gina she is fantastic childminder and a my son adores her.
