Currently working full time but that will change after the summer holidays.
I'm a caring professional with lots of experience involved in childcare, running my own childminding business for twenty years, and am now working as a nanny to a GP and her family Tuesday,Thursday and Fri Inc.
plus some ad hoc care to a couple of other families.
I like walking and cycling.
I dont smoke and hold a clean driving licence.
I am easygoing, calm, capable, and loyal to the families I care for.
I aim to offer parents stability and continuity, which results in me caring for the same families from birth to school age and beyond.

My Experience
Aside from bringing up my own children i have cared for many others of all ages. Weaned and potty trained quite a few!
Experienced in caring for mixed ages and abilities (including two one year olds plus toddler). Have cared for twins and school aged children.
I am confident , well organised and self motivated. Able to offer advice where needed but happy to fit in with you and your family, with your ideas and principles and to continue with established routines and parenting.
I am experienced at supporting children through the EYFS (early years foundation stage) and am experienced at observing and assessing where children are at and helping them to progress to the next stage.
My Qualifications
I have a couple of O levels and 8 GCSE's.
Am level 3 qualified and attend regular courses and conferences relating to childcare issues.
I have had four Ofsted visits over the years when I worked as a childminder the latest graded good with some areas of outstanding.
Valid Pediatric first aid.
DBS checked.
Public liability insured.
Health & safety.
Food hygiene.
OFSTED
I switched to nannying during lockdown and have continued as a nanny to date.

We have been incredibly fortunate to have Julie as our nanny since September 2023. I have three energetic boys who are now 9,7 and 3. Julie is calm, caring and kind and has formed a really close bond with all of them especially my 3 year old who will miss his special Julie days. She keeps things clean and tidy and always helps out at home, going above and beyond. She has always been flexible and accommodating and we trust her implicitly.
The boys will miss her a huge amount and Julie will always be a part of our family.

Julie looked after my son from 9 months until the age of 2. We feel extremely grateful that we found such a kind and caring person to nurture him in his early years. My son was always happy in her care and enjoyed a range of appropriate and stimulating activities to bring on his early language and communication skills. Julie attends lots of groups and supports social and emotional development well. She has a calm approach with the children and is very patient. My son particularly enjoyed the environment in which she cared for him. They were wonderful for welly walks and outdoor learning. Julie was flexible and we really valued the support she gave to us. She communicates well and Charlie particularly enjoyed feeling part of her family. We still enjoy seeing her at baby groups! After baby two I'm now a full time mum so no longer need a childminder. I would recommend Julie and feel very lucky that we could use her services. Thanks again Julie xxx

Julie has looked after my little boy for just under a year. He started when he was 9 months old. He absolutely loves it here. Always happy when we leave him and pick him up.
Julie is very flexible, kind and so accommodating for the children and parent needs.
Julie's home is lovely and she has great outdoor space for the children to play in safely. she'll also takes the children to local groups/parks for fun activities. I highly recommend Julie as a great reliable Childminder.
