Everyone knows me as Marylou
I provide a Friendly and stimulating non smoking, home from home environment that is safe, welcoming and fun for all ages.
I have various toys and activities for all ages and a fully enclosed, secure garden.
I have a very friendly Cavapoo which children adore him.
We enjoy spending lots of time outdoors and exploring a variety of places including parks & woods, zoo, horse world, ball pits, playgroups, we regularly attend the library for story time/ryhme time.
I have many letters and cards from previous families, thanking me for the care I have shown to both the children and their families. These are available to view also references you can see or phone some of the parents.
My Experience
I've been a registered childminder for 27 years and have 4 children of my own, two of which are now grown up and are off exploring the world. I have cared for children aged from newborn and am still in contact with many of the families that i have built relationships with over the years.
My Qualifications
I am First Aid qualified, and update this every 3 years. in addition to this I attend many relevant child care training courses.
My Availability
Monday - Friday 7am - 6pm
will try to accommodate shift patterns.
Full Time & Part Time places offered
I am able to care for children during the school holidays (subject to availability)

We honestly cannot recommend Nanny Loulou highly enough. She has been absolutely amazing with our daughter, and the development she has helped her achieve, has been second to none. From the very beginning, she took our daughter under her wing and cared for her as if she were one of her own. She has truly become part of our family.
Nanny Loulou has always gone above and beyond for us, with our daughter’s happiness, development and wellbeing always coming first. She has given her so many amazing experiences and taken her to places and on days out that we simply wouldn’t have been able to give her in the same way.
What we have loved most is that she hasn’t just provided childcare — she has given our daughter the opportunity to experience the real world, build confidence, become independent and learn through everyday experiences. She has also had regular socialisation with other children who attend different childminders, in a preschool-style setting two days a week. This has been fantastic for her confidence, friendships and social development and has given her the best of both worlds.
For us, the care and experiences she has received have been better than we could ever have hoped for from a traditional preschool or nursery. Nanny Loulou has put so much time, love and effort into helping our daughter grow, learn and thrive, and we will be forever grateful to her for that.
Although our daughter is now moving on to preschool, choosing Nanny Loulou was genuinely the best thing we ever did for her. We know she is going into preschool happy, confident, sociable and ready for her next adventure — and we have Nanny Loulou to thank for so much of that.
Thank you for everything you have done for our daughter and for our family. You really are one in a million, and we will miss you more than words can say! ❤️

Warm, understanding, caring for the child's safety. My daughter, who has been under the care of Mery Lou for the last 2 years, misses her very much and the time spent with her. I sincerely recommend her services as a childminder. :)

It is very hard to put into words how impactful Marylou has been on our family. She is a true hero, amazing human as well as a genuine, kind and caring person. She has taught our son so much and he is well and truly prepared for school. We are very sad to not see her every day but glad that we have a new family member! x
