About Me
I’m Holly, and I run Wardwards Childcare from my home in the Chilterns. I’m married with three children of my own — they’re older now, but raising them taught me most of what I know. We’re an outdoorsy family; between our three dogs and their dog sports, we spend a lot of time outside in all weathers, and I love a good walk in the woods. Home life for us is pretty simple: fresh air, routine, and time together. That’s the kind of environment I want to offer your child too — somewhere relaxed and genuine, where they’re cared for like part of the family.
My Experience
With thirteen years’ hands-on experience, I’ve supported many neurodiverse children, including those with ADHD, autism, and learning differences, as well as children working through feeding difficulties such as weaning struggles or sensitive gag reflexes. My experience comes from real-world practice rather than academic study — I believe strongly in outdoor learning, play-based development, and building secure, nurturing attachments at the heart of everything I do.

Holly has been a fantastic childminder for the last 2 years. She offers a welcoming “home-from-home” environment and genuinely cares about the children she looks after. My children loved coming to see her, to the point where my youngest would wake up and ask “Can we go to Holly’s today?!” She takes the children out to the library, soft play and cafes, and involves the children in activities. She is very reliable and flexible and always acts in a professional manner. I would highly recommend her.
