About Me

I am a 25 year old third year student paediatric nurse with 7 years experience looking after children of various ages (birth to 15 years). I am a qualified nursery nurse and have spent 4 years nannying for children of various ages. My parents are foster carers which has let me gain invaluable experience. I am first aid trained and own my own car with a full clean UK driving licence.
I am looking for week night, and weekend babysitting opportunities.
I live in Sunderland but would be willing to travel to surrounding areas (South Shields, Chester-Le-street etc.)

My Experience

My last placement was looking after a 2 year old boy 2 days a week from 12pm to around 1am, providing entertainment, cooking meals and picking him up from nursery. I also spent a year as an au pair in London looking after an 11 year old girl and helping with housework. I worked for 9 months as a child-minder for two young boys (aged 9 months and 3 years when I started). Before that I spent 6 months in a Nursery training for my Level 2 NVQ in Childcare. I worked mainly in the baby room (up to 18 months) but also got to work in all areas of the nursery as well as their after school club.
I also hold a full first aid certificate and have previously done paediatric first aid.

My Qualifications

Studying paediatric nursing at Northumbria university.
NVQ Level 2 in Childcare. First Aid certificate. Access to Nursing diploma.
