About Me
I have been a registered childminder with OFSTED since September 2006, my grading at my last inspection in March 2021 was graded OUTSTANDING for the second time.
I am a trained and qualified Nursery nurse too, i have 1 daughter who will be 20 years old in Dec.
I offer a very happy home enviroment in which children can learn from all types of play, i have a room especially for my work which leads straight out into an outdoor play area. Outside there are lots of bikes scooters, buggies etc for fun physical play! I also have a full size Basketball net which the older children absolutely love.
I enjoy taking the children i care for on outings to parks, the library and mother and toddler groups in my local area. I work with 5 other Childminder to provide a very full, happy and exciting day. The children build up a great rapour with all the other children, providing them with a great social circle of friends of different ages and backgrounds.
I have a 8 year old dog( sprollie) he has grown up with all my mindees and loves them all as much as my family...he thinks they are his!!!
I provide a before and after school care service too, including a hot meal for tea.
My Experience
I qulified as a Nursery nurse in 1986 and since then have always worked with young children. I spent 15 years working in 2 Nursery classes attatched to primary schools in Stockport. I took the decision to leave this position and become a childminder for my family, so i was able to take my daughter to and from school each day.

My Availability
Monday - Thursday 7.30 till 5.30/45pm
I work most school holidays, but will also do term time only contracts if required.
I will do full time, part time, mornings only, shift rotas.
Very flexible.
I have vacancies during the day between 9 and 3 and for before and after school for older children...5 + yrs.
I walk to Norbury Primary Sch each morning and afternoon to do drop off and pick ups.I can also do Nursery drop/ pick ups too.
