My Experience

My current role as a sole charge nanny is looking after a 4.5 year old girl and 16 month old girl 5 days a week (since March 2025).
We usually go out every day to playgroups & classes, playdates, the park/library, National trusts, farms, play cafes etc; and I plan activities using the EYFS for age appropriate activities covering the areas of development.
I enjoy planning activities around a theme e.g. setting up a Pets theme tuff tray with different food/bedding/vet set, getting animal books from the library, and going to see pets at the pet shop.

Before that I looked after a 4y old boy and 2y old girl 3 days a week, and a 9 year old girl & 11 year old boy after school 2 days a week (both June 2024 to March 2025).
I was previously looking after a 7y old boy and 4y old girl 3 days a week (June 2020 - June 2024 from ages 3y & 4m). And a 3.5 year old girl on the other 2 days a week (Sept 2021 - June 2024 from 11m). And also looking after an 8y old girl after school on 3 days (previously 1 full day a week, Jan 2018 - June 2024 from age 2y).

Before that I looked after 6y old and 3y old girls (from ages 18m & birth, Jan 2016 to Aug 2020).

I had a 3.5 month temp nanny job with 1.5 year old and 3.5 year old boys (Aug-Dec 2017).
I also had a 3 month temp nanny job with 1 year old and 5 year old boys (Apr-Jul 2017).

Before nannying I worked in a day nursery with babies aged 3m-2y for 7.5 years (2008-2016). For the last 3 years of that I was Head of Unit of the Baby Care room.

My Qualifications

I hold the CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education (equivalent to an NVQ 3)

I also have a DBS check, First Aid training (2025), Safeguarding Children (2023).

My Availability

I'm available all week Monday to Friday, so open to full time or part time 1-3 days, ideally full days around 10 hours per day. Open to half day/after school but would be a higher rate.

My Fees

• Nannying from £16.00 per hour (gross)

£16 gross per hour minimum
