Part Time Nanny Job In Oxford
About Me
I am a psychologist working part time from home and in Reading. My husband is an academic here in Oxford. We live just north of Jericho, close to the canal and the Aristotle Lane playground. We have three boys. The oldest is 14 and goes to Magdalen College School. The youngest is 9 and goes to New College School. Our middle boy is 11, and is home-educated after having a really tough time at school. He is super bright with autism and ADHD, and was really burnt out by the social and emotional demands of school. He is a much happier little person at home, where he has 121 tutoring.
My Requirements
We are need someone to look after our middle boy, who is 11 and home educated, for 5-8 hours a week, ideally Monday all afternoon, and perhaps Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 2:15. Exact days and times might be swappable. If you can only do some of the times, we would still like to hear from you.
We are looking for someone with a real enthusiasm for (and ideally experience of) working with kids with special needs. The ideal person for us is someone who really enjoys quirky kids and can be patient, creative, energetic and sensitive. You would take him to planned activities, but also come up with ideas for fun outings and things to do together, etc. Sometimes he will entertain himself, reading or playing the piano, and during those times you could help with some household jobs.

I just thought I would say that Clemmie attended her interview with me with no problem. We have not yet had occasion to use her so the resetting I've given is a bit random, but I was surprised to read the other review that she was unreliable. I thought she seemed reliable and very nice, and I wish her well.
