About Me
Hi, my name is Karli and I live in Torrington with my husband. I have three grown-up children who have now moved out, and I am a proud grandparent to two grandchildren.
I have been an established childminder for 13 years and offer care all day on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, including local nursery and school runs.
I specialise in caring for babies and young toddlers, providing a calm, nurturing environment that supports their early development. I understand how important those first years are and work closely with families to follow each child’s individual routine, including sleep, feeding and comfort needs.
I offer:

My setting provides a warm, safe space where little ones feel valued and supported. I focus on sensory play, early communication and language development, and learning through play at each child’s own pace
My Experience
I have worked in early years for approximately 23 years and have also raised my own three children. I am Ofsted registered, and always strive to provide the highest standard of care.
I am able to accept all government funding initiatives, supporting families with funded childcare options.
I believe in allowing children to be children, encouraging fun, curiosity and a love of learning through play. Activities are planned around each child’s individual interests, with a strong focus on child-led experiences, while supportive adult interaction is always available when needed.
My Qualifications
I hold a BA ( Hons ) in Early years and hold all necessary certificates to child mind - such as first aid, DBS, CYPOP5, food hygiene, I have also attended many other courses linked to physical development, heathy living and communication and language. I work in good partnerships with other local Early Years Providers.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
All types of government funding accepted or my hourly rate outside of any funding entitlement is £6.00 per hour.

- I provide drop offs and pick ups at Great Torrington Bluecoat Church of England Primary School
