I have been working in the childcare industry for 16 years. My first year was working in a nursery where I achieved my NVQ 2. After receiving my qualification, I decided to become a nanny, finding it much more rewarding. Whilst being a nanny, I went on to achieve my NVQ 3. I have a positive attitude and can do approach to all aspects of being a nanny. I have fantastic references from my previous nanny families and have the pleasure of keeping in contact with both the parents and children. I have now gained my NCFE CACHE Level 4 in Teaching.

For me nannying isn’t just a job it’s a great responsibility for the care and welfare of other people’s precious children. I would describe myself as bubbly, creative, nurturing and enthusiastic in what I do.

I believe the EYFS is an important guideline for children’s development. In the past I have planned a range of stimulating indoor/outdoor activities; where it has shown in their little personalities. One of my many skills is cooking and baking. I would cook the children healthy nourishing meals and get them involved with the cooking and baking too!

I do have a 5 year old son of my own that attends school full time and a 11 month old. So I would need the family to be understanding/flexible in regards to this and half terms/holidays. I have experience with having multiple children at 1 time and I am more than capable of coping. Children learn and thrive whilst being around other children and with the current situation I can’t stress this enough.
