About Me
I am a fully qualified, fun loving, experienced nanny who has travelled the world with my job. I love the outdoors and love to cook (not always successfully ?). I have experience with newborn babies as well as extensive experience with children and teenagers up to the age of 17.
My Experience
Most recently I worked for 2+ years for an international opera singer, caring for a one year old girl. Duties included travel, sole charge and proxy parenting as well as standard nanny duties.
Studied 1 year as a student nurse at Coventry University, so confident in 1st aid proceedures.
3 winter ski seasons in a French ski resort as a nanny caring for children aged birth to 12 in a chalet setting, including cooking and cleaning.
3 summer seasons working onboard Cunard Cruise Liners as a nursery nurse, working with children aged 1 to 17. This led to a permanent position of almost 2 years working in the nursery.
3 months as a maternity nanny helping to care for a newborn baby while mother recovered from a c-section.
2+ years working as a private nanny for a child aged 3 years with epilepsy and additional physical and developmental needs. Mum had terminal cancer and needed help with all aspects of childcare, housekeeping and running of their caravan park business.
1 year contract working for P&O cruises as youthstaff, mainly working with children under the age of 8.
Excellent customer service skills gained from working onboard Cunard Cruise Liners.
