About Me
I am an ofsted registered childminder, I live in Byfleet village with my partner and our daughter who was born in March 2007. We have a very loving and friendly cat called Tinkerbell.
I chose to become a childminder as I enjoy everything that comes with working with children, everyday so different.
I work alongside other childminders as this makes it more sociable for the children in my care, we enjoy swapping ideas and sharing experiences. I like to think that children learn through play and I make this fun and exciting .
We join in with activities in the local area e.g. Rhyme time, tots praise, toddler group and many soft plays. We also enjoy outings to the library, RHS Wisley, the farm and local nature reserves.
My Experience
I have been an ofsted registered childminder since April 2012. I have had lots of experience with children, before I registered as a childminder I worked at a private day nursery for 11 years ( with children age 3 months to 5 years ). Whilst here I worked in various roles from nursery nurse up to pre school supervisor .
Also having a daughter of my own and 8 nephews had added to my experience.

My Availability
My working hours are 7.30 am till 6 pm (these are negotiable) Monday to Friday. I work though out the entire year (excluding bank holidays). I give 4weeks advanced notice of any holiday leave.

I am registered to claim 2,3 and 4 year old early years education funding ( subject to the parents registration approval).

Nicki is a wonderful childminder. She is a very caring, patient and kind person. My daughter warmed to her immediately and was made to feel part of their lovely family (as was my older daughter when she came to pick up time!) from the very start.
Nicki is very diligent. She provided varied activities each day and gave me feedback in the form of a sheet - 'a day at Nic's house'. This showed me what they had done, what my daughter had eaten, and how much etc...
My daughter was always happy to go there every day and will miss her time with Nicki very much. I recommend her outstanding childcare wholeheartedly!
