About Me

Hello! I'm Lydia, I'm 32 years old and the proud owner of a warm, welcoming childminding setting. I live with my fiancé, Paul, and our daughter.

Paul is my registered childminding assistant and is currently completing his Ofsted registration. We work together to provide a caring, nurturing and engaging environment where children feel safe, happy and confident to learn through play.

I hold a CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education and am currently working towards my degree to further develop my knowledge and skills. My childcare journey has included working as a nanny for a family with four children, including a newborn, before opening my own childminding business, which I successfully ran for eight wonderful years. After spending some time working in a primary school, I was delighted to return to my true passion—childminding.

In July 2026, we were proud to successfully pass our latest Ofsted inspection, reflecting our commitment to providing high-quality care and education for every child.

Our setting is based in a purpose-built childminding space, carefully designed to encourage children to explore, play, learn and thrive. We provide a home-from-home environment filled with exciting activities, outdoor adventures and learning opportunities tailored to each child's individual interests and stage of development.

I hold a full UK driving licence with over 15 years of driving experience, Paediatric First Aid certification, and a range of other relevant childcare training to ensure children are cared for in a safe and supportive environment.

Building strong relationships with families is incredibly important to me, and I believe open communication and working together helps every child reach their full potential. I would love the opportunity to welcome your family and support your child's early years journey.
