My Experience
I started my child care career in a day nursery and worked there for 5 years. Then moving to London I worked for 3 years as a live in nanny for twins aged 5 when I started. Whilst at this position, during my last year I worked at a nursery 5 mornings, term time. That was followed by 2 1/2 years as a live out nanny for a boy 1 1/2, when I left he was 4 with a new sister 1 1/2. I then started work as a maternity nurse working 24/6 for a variety of families for what ever contracted time was needed. With single newborns and twins.
