About Me
I am an Ofsted registered childminder living in the Redbridge area near Newbury Park station. Ilford town centre and train station are less than a 10 min walk away.
I hold an Enhanced DBS certificate and Public Liability insurance, along with a full UK driving licence and relevant car/house insurance. I fluently speak English, Punjabi and Hindi. I also have some knowledge of Gujrati and Urdu. I drive a SUV car equipped with necessary child seats to ensure safety whilst travelling.
My Experience
I have worked as a childminder for over 20 years but have over 35 years experience with children ranging from birth to teens. Children in my care are valued and treated as part of the family.
I have experience of looking after children with special needs, learning difficulties, allergies and medical conditions.
I promote development through play so children have plenty of opportunites to learn whilst having fun! I structure a care/development plan with parents to ensure that children receive a consistent approach in their development. Parents are encouraged to share their views, ideas as well as concerns to help contribute to the happy running of the setting.
All children are treated equally regardless of background, culture, race, religion or learning disabilities.
Healthy snacks and meals are provided (dietary needs taken into account).
My Qualifications
I hold an NVQ 3 in Child Care Learning and Development, along with First Aid, Food Hygiene and Child Protection/Safeguarding.
I have attended many other courses to enable me to continue to help children enjoy and achieve high levels in their learning (too many to list!). Certificates will be provided during initial visit.
My Availability
I work mon-fri from 3.00pm to 6.00pm.

Dependent on childcare requirements, please call for further information.
Funding is available for 3-4 yr olds (2 yr funding dependent on eligibility).
I also accept childcare vouchers.

So my little boy was about 10 and half months when he went to Jas, and she looked after him so well. It was only for a short period of time but I feel like it was home away from home. He really enjoyed the stay, I was updated daily because I was quite apprehensive and she put me at ease. Jas is such a lovely bubbly person and she looks after the children really well. I highly recommend her to anyone. She really makes you feel comfortable and happy leaving your child there which is what you want. I still wish I lived close by so she could look after my little boy and we all remember her on a regular basis. I would definitely say try Jas she's amazing.

We had a great opportunity to have Jas as a childminder to our 8 month old. We were more than happy with her children loving attitude, openness, listening skills, professionalism and reliability. I was very confident to leave my son with Jas and she was very understanding of my potential worries as a back-to-work mum. And our son thoroughly enjoyed his time with Jas and her whole family. We are very grateful for this experience!
