About Me

Helen's Home Nursery is here to provide your little ones with a caring, supportive environment where they can play, explore and have fun to achieve their full potential while you can feel reassured your children are getting the best care.

I am registered with a childminding agency with the highest Ofsted rating.

My Home is on a quiet street in Taunton Town. Vivary Park is super close, as is a variety of stay and plays and the Somerset Museum.

I have over 25 years childcare experience in a variety of settings as well as a 3.5 year old daughter.

I can accept government funding.

My Experience

I have over 25 years experience with children from newborn to 16 years of age. Some of my roles have included: nannying, nursery assistant, teaching assistant, building an education programme in an art gallery, dance teaching volunteering in schools and orphanages abroad as well as looking after my 3.5 yr old daughter.

I have excellent references and a great rapport with the families I have worked with and am still in touch with many of them.

My Qualifications

BTEC National Diploma in child Care.
First aid.

Food Hygiene.
Nutrition.
Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) for Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Ofsted registration though my Childminding Agency.

My Availability

Tuesday and Friday only.
All day: 7:30am - 6pm.
Morning session: 7:30am - 1pm.
Afternoon session: 1pm - 6pm.

Wrap around care available for Parkfield School.
