I am a fully registered childminder whom works a variety of hours. Fully CRB checked, liability insurance and business insurance on our 7 seater car.
I also have 4 children of my own and decided to childmind due to not being able to find a childminder of my own that provided unsociable hours care.
I offer a welcoming atmosphere and I currently collect from St Thomas C Of E @ Bradley and Sunnydays playgroup plus a few more.
I have full insurance, paediatric lvl 3 first aid qualified and registered with OFSTED.
I hold a Level 3 diploma in childcare and can now offer the 15/30hours free funding for 2,3 and 4 year olds.
I have attended a variety of courses from behaviour managment to encouraging learning and continue to take courses to keep me up to date and ensure all children reach their full learning potential whilst in my care.
I am based in Bradley on a quiet street. We own our home. We have a playroom/dining room and a large flat garden for the children to play out in.
We have a park close by which we utilise and some woodland areas that we like to take a walk through collecting natural resources.
I attend numerous playgroups, go on walks, outdoor activities etc. I enjoy watching the children socialise with peers their own age.
There is always something going on.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.00 per hour
sibling discount available.
£35 per day 7.30-5.45pm
£26.00 per half day.
£12.50 after school care / £9.00 before school
Admission to playgroup is included in daily rate.
Bank holidays are charged for if on a contracted day but the setting is not open.
During school holidays additonal charges may occur due to trips but notice will be given.

Dayna has been looking after our little boy for a couple of months now; he was suffering quite badly with separation anxiety at first but Dayna has worked miracles! Her patience, communication & knowledge is amazing & we feel very lucky that our son is being cared for by someone so professional & dedicated. He is becoming more confident & comfortable in unfamiliar surroundings & I credit that to Dayna. Similarly I suffered with quite bad anxiety & PND when he was born so I do get anxious about how people will react to him when he’s fussy or unhappy but being able to text & call throughout the day & receiving pictures has helped me with the reassurance I needed to know that he’s ok. The tapestry app is excellent for us getting updates as well; it’s lovely to see photos & videos of what he’s done that day or that week. In case you can’t tell yet....I can’t say enough nice things about Dayna!

As a nursing student, my hours can be irregular, but Dayna has been very accommodating. I sometimes don't get there til after 8pm.
My son enjoys being there and playing with the other children, and has a lovely bond with Dayna.
She communicates availability well in advance, ensuring time to make alternative arrangements.
She's very friendly and approachable, and will always try to accommodate you.
With Dayna, I know I have a caring person looking after my Prince when I am not there, and look forward to her continuing to look after him long after I graduate.

Overall
Dayna looked after my first child from 6month old to 3.5yrs old till he started preschool.
She offered a range of activities and attended different playgroup settings.
She kept me upto date with his development and I recieved a wonderful record of achievement which I will treasure forever.
My son still talks quite often about places hes been and children hes made friends with.
If we hadn't moved out of the area I would happily and confidently sent my 2nd born.
Food was never an issue she offered a range of meals and these were seen in pictures and my son told me what he ate. We got a daily diary that told us what meals eaten how much and also highlighted toilet times which was a great help during potty training.
As a nurse my hours changed at the drop if a hat and Dayna always accomodate them without very little notice (thats what working for the bus is like).
If I could give thos setting 10 out of 10 I would. It's a friend inviting environment and Dayna has gone above and beyond her role as a childminder for us. Shes now like extended family to us.

My two children have been coming to dayna for just over 4 years and I can't recommend her highly enough! The kids think the world of her (and her kids!) and she has genuinely provided a home away from home for them. They are always busy with activities and going places which has really helped with their confidence and development. She also sends me photos and updates of what they have been doing durig the day which is really reassuring, especially when you first go back to work from maternity leave! She's been incredibly flexible and helpful around my job. She's also obviously a far better cook than me as the kids eat meals there I can't tempt them with at home!!

It's been an absolute pleasure having them both. Thank you for your review its much appreciated.
In the 2 years my son has been with dayna his social skills have improved impeccably. I'm a busy mum of one with my own business and have to work around the clock! Dayna accommodates me always with pick up and drop of times. She has helped my son with his speach.
He now eats a varied variety of meals as dayna has invested her time into helping him learn to shop for his own foods and how to prepare them. He has an exceptional appetite, eats most fruits, vegetables.
I cannot recommend this childminder enough. She caters to all sorts of different needs for the individuality of each child with her setting. I'd be lost without her. Deffinatley a 5*
