About Me
I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder a qualified Early Years Teacher, a Babysitter & a Mother! I have taught in local Abingdon schools and primary schools in London and currently work in Abingdon.
Qualifications & training:
BA Early Childhood Studies, Paediatric First Aid, Childminding & the EYFS, Generalist Safeguarding, Designated Lead Safeguarding, Food Hygiene Level 2.
I have 3 children (12,9,6) who will be at school whilst I care for your child. We do Forest Childcare outings where we visit different woods/forests and explore and learn in the great outdoors!!
We walk to the local parks and feed the ducks, sometimes we go to the library to read books and the children are able to choose and take a book out. Occasionally we take trips away from Abingdon such as Millets Farm or toddler groups to occupy our mornings.
We have lunch at home, followed by nap or quiet time before the end of the day.
I have a warm and welcoming home with a large, clean and inviting space where I will care for your child. There is direct access to the outdoors for free-flow play, there is also a variety of resources for all the different ages & stages. My home is near OLA school in Abingdon.
I am DBS checked, I have Public Liability Insurance & my car is insured for Business to enable me to transport your child.

I childmind only on Thursday & Fridays. If you are in need of an evening Babysitter, please drop me a message, I can mostly accommodate any night.
My Experience
Past teaching/childcare roles:
I worked as a part-time nanny & babysitter in various London locations such as Notting Hill, Chelsea and Knightsbridge. My part-time nanny role required me to look after a 2 year old during the day and then his siblings in the evening, I did this for 2 years.
I have Qualified Teacher Status and many years classroom experience. I have worked with children from the ages of 4 - 7, from Reception through to Year 2. I also have the experience of having my own 3 children!
