My Summary

My Experience

I have worked within childcare for over 33 yrs within various roles from foster parent to a senior in a children's home. I have worked with children from the ages of 2 weeks to 24 yrs. I am level 3 qualified in play work, enjoying the more practical hands on side of childcare. Many of my years of experience have been around Neurodiversity young people verbal and non verbal. Enjoying seeing a child discovering or seeing something in a new light. I promote confidence and positive role modeling ensuring a positive and rewarding time while within my care. I work within boundaries and routine ensuring these are kept as much as allowed by circumstances believing this enables a secure surrounding for a child to grow and gain confidence. As well as having my own twins I also have experience with twins working as a mother's support and nanny with the girls being 11 this yr, i also went back to nanny for their younger sister. I have build many a lovely friendship with many of the families i have had the pleasure to support. I have many stories of young people i have seen grow and become amazing adults some with their own families now. I am able to produce references that include children that I took care of when they were younger to parents that I have contact with on a regular basis.

My Qualifications

Level 3 diploma in play work
Degree in psychology
First aid trained

My Availability

I am available for various hours that can be discussed. There maybe a few other hours i may be able to help with in the evening during the week. Available to travel.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
