About me
My name is Diane Singleton I am 43 years old, got 2 beautiful children but all grow up, I am married been married 17 years also got 2 beautiful Yorkshire terriers they love been round children and house been full of happiness and joy.

Childcare has become such an important part of my working life that I have now decided to dedicate all my working life to childcare - together I have created Diane's childminding, I opened in August 2005 and is run by myself.
I have the full UK driving licence with a 7 seater car.
All about my childminding services
Diane's childminding is a registered childminding business providing quality child care in a friendly, homely setting enabling your child/ren to develop, grow, learn and play in a safe, fun-filled and stable environment.
I promote a happy and fun-filled environment through the encouragement of making the children I have now feel confident and independent, I do this by getting the child/ren involved in activities.
Diane's childminding provides full daycare, offers a high standard of care, for children aged between birth to 11 years old, I seek to support children in developing the skills they require to become independent learners and fully benefit from their early years at school.
About the setting
I do the EYFS on all the minding children under 5 years this is done once a month all children have a key worker person which is myself. alongside this, I do a learning journal.
I go to toddler groups, play gyms Mon to Fri I go on outings, and I visit other childminders in the week and childminders visit my home setting, I do activities, themed activities, and all activities go on the activities board the setting is a fun-filled environment for your child/children to success in there learning and development.
All risk assessment is done before I go on any outings new or old it's also done within the childminding home and garden.
My Experience
I have looked after children for over 18 years, before I came a registered childminder I worked in a nursery I then had my own child and then came a childminder I have been a childminder for over 15 years now I have done alot of babysitting jobs.

Open - Monday to Friday
Full Day - 7.30am to 17.00pm
Half Day Monday to Friday 07.30am to 12.30pm and 12.30pm to 17.00pm
Before school - 07.30am to 9am
After school - 3pm to 17.00pm
Holiday club - 07.30am to 17.00pm

My child was with Diane from 9 months old until they started school, so she was a big part of their early years.
Diane provided a consistent and reliable childcare arrangement for us over that time, which we really appreciated. It was reassuring to know our child was settled and familiar with their surroundings, and Diane supported them through those important early years and the transition to starting school.
We’re grateful for the care she provided over the years and for everything she did for our child during that time. We wish Diane all the best for the future.

When we moved to the area three years ago and began looking for childcare for our two children, we were nervous about using a childminder. With no spaces available in the local nurseries we liked, we decided to explore childminding instead - and we are so glad we did.
From the very first day we met Diane, we knew she was the right person to care for our children. Our eldest was in school, and our youngest was with her full‑time. Both children formed a wonderful bond with Diane, and with our youngest being Autistic, finding someone we could trust completely was incredibly important - and incredibly rare.
Now that both children are in school, we no longer need childcare, but we will always be grateful for everything Diane has done for our family and for the connection she built with our children. Our youngest still gets excited when he sees her in the school playground each morning and frequently asks if he’s going to DiDi’s house.
If you live in the area and need a childminder, Diane is AMAZING. She teaches them, she feeds them healthy meals, and most importantly, she creates a bond with them that they will never forget.

It is very difficult to come across an outstanding childminder like Diane. She is by far the best childminder we have ever had for my children. She looked after my little daughter for about 2 years, until we left the area and forced to change her childminder, but we couldn't find someone as good as Diane here in Wilmslow. All of my family love her and we are still in touch after a year since we left.
It is a great chance for anyone work with Diane as a childminder.
