I am NNEB qualified and have worked with children for over 29 years, I have worked in a variety of roles.
I thoroughly enjoy working with children of all ages and aim to provide a fun stable and safe environment.
my duties in former roles included cooking healthy meals, planning activities, attending playgroups and arranging play dates, weaning, potty training and supporting parents when needed.
I am kind caring reliable, firm but fair and not afraid to enforce rules given by the family, and ensuring that the children are safe at all times is my main priority.
I’m also a parent myself I have a son who is 17
My Experience
I have worked in many different environments ranging from families with premature twins to families that have 3 or more children, I also did a nanny share, I have a very long list of the positions I have worked in and all were very different.
I have worked in nurseries>playgroups>schools and in the home environment.
I have my own child now who is 17, I did some voluntary work helping out a friend who had 2 children 1 of whom was in school with my son and the other child was 1 years old,
I then got offered a job in my sons school covering long term sickness doing mid-meals-supervising I also did after school club in the same school. I did this for 3 years, I then went back into nannying I was with a family for 4 yrs looking after a little boy aged 4 mths when i started it was slowly coming to an end as he was starting school x I’ve had a few short term positions, then got my last employment 16mths ago but now the family have decided on full time nursery as of September 2021, I then went on to another nanny position with 3 children aged 1 4 and 6 this position lasted a yr which was discussed in the beginning as 1 yr old was going nursery when she was 2, I’ve been doing temp work since September while looking for my next next nanny position, I’m looking to start a new job January 2023.
