Hello I'm Laura, I have been working in childcare for over 20 years. Starting my childcare journey working in day nurseries, before becoming a deputy manager. I then moved to nanny, where I have worked with a number of families, caring for children aged 6 months to 13 years. I enjoy working with children watching them grow into the lovely caring individuals.
My Experience
I am a patient, organised and compassionate Professional Nanny and Family PA, with 20+ years’ experience working with children and their parents from the ages 6 months to 13 years old. Although the main part of my job is working with children, I also work alongside the parents, organising the filing of all school paperwork and family paperwork in the home office, making sure that all activities are written on the online family calendar and parents are made aware of any changes. I prepare the weekly timetables for the children and email it to the parents and print a copy for the family noticeboard. I organise all the children’s afterschool activities and school holidays. I am also in charge of preparing menus for the family and ordering food.
I enjoy carrying out activities with the children to trips to park, playgroups, art and crafts, cooking and lots more.
My Qualifications
CACHE Certificate in child care and Education Level 2
BTEC National Diploma in Childhood studies. Level 3
