With 28 years of childminding experience, I have dedicated many years to caring for little ones and helping them learn, grow, and thrive in a warm, loving, and welcoming home-from-home environment.
I believe every child is unique and deserves to feel safe, happy, loved, and valued. My aim is to provide a nurturing environment where children can be themselves, build confidence, develop independence, and make lots of wonderful memories along the way.
From fun activities, creative play, and outdoor adventures to stories, laughter, and everyday learning, I make sure children have plenty of opportunities to explore the world around them while learning through play.
I understand how important it is for parents to feel confident and reassured when choosing someone to care for their precious little ones. Over the past 28 years, I have built up a wealth of experience and understand the importance of building trusting relationships with both children and their families.
For me, childminding is more than just a job — it is a passion. There is nothing more rewarding than watching children grow, achieve new milestones, develop their personalities, and become confident little individuals.

About Me and My Experience
I have been a childminder for 28 years and absolutely love what I do. Over the years, I have had the privilege of caring for many children, watching them grow, learn and develop, and supporting them through their early years.
As a proud mum of two grown-up children and a grandma to four wonderful grandchildren, I understand how important it is for children to feel safe, loved and secure. I know how much trust parents place in their childcare provider, and I aim to give every family peace of mind by providing a caring, welcoming and nurturing home-from-home environment.
Throughout my 28 years of childminding, I have cared for children with a range of individual needs, including children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). I believe every child is unique and deserves to feel included, valued and supported. I take the time to get to know each child, understand their individual needs and interests, and help them develop at their own pace.
I provide opportunities for children to learn through play, explore their surroundings, build friendships and develop confidence and independence. My aim is to create a happy, stimulating and inclusive environment where every child feels they belong.
I feel incredibly fortunate to have spent so many years doing a job I love, building lasting relationships with families and being part of so many children's early journeys. I look forward to continuing to provide children with the care, encouragement and support they need to flourish.
My philosophy is simple: every child matters, every child is unique, and every child deserves to feel safe, happy and loved.

Statement of Qualifications and Suitability for Childminding
I am a caring, patient, and responsible individual with a genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth and development. I am committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children feel happy, secure, and valued. I hold a First Aid qualification and regularly undertake relevant ongoing courses to develop my knowledge and skills in childcare, safeguarding, child development, and children's wellbeing. I understand the importance of meeting each child's individual needs, encouraging learning through play, and promoting their social, emotional, and physical development. I recognise the importance of effective communication with parents and carers, maintaining high standards of safety and hygiene, and ensuring every child receives quality care and attention. I am dedicated to continually improving my skills and knowledge to provide professional, reliable, and high-quality childminding services.
My Availability
Monday-Friday before and after school

- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
My Local Schools
- I provide drop offs and pick ups at Methley Primary School
