About Me
I am a Social Care Social Work Improvement Scotland registered childminder who lives in the Leith Links area of Edinburgh. I live with my husband, son (16) and daughter (18)and provide a safe, warm, fun and caring home from home environment for children in my care. I strive to provide an environment where children are happy and content and they can participate in both new and favourite activities. I love spending time outdoors and encourage outdoor play either in my garden or enclosed parks.
I want to provide an environment which children look forward to coming to and parents/carers are satisfied, confident and happy that their children will be well cared for.
I will encourage children to interact with each other and will arrange fun activities to demonstrate this through supervised activities such as play dough, painting and gluing, singing and dancing and baking if the children wish to participate.
There are no pets in the home and it is a strictly no smoking environment.
My Experience
I firmly believe that there is no better experience for childminding than being a mother. I will bring my extensive experiences learnt in bringing up my son and daughter to the role.
In addition I will take the children to toddler groups, softplay etc to allow interaction with other children as I believe this to be extremely important as it helps to form valuable social skills and is also lots of fun.
My home is in an excellent location for visiting parks, Leith Links, the beach and libraries which I regularly use. In addition, the children will have supervised access to my garden which has a selection of child-friendly toys including a trampoline with safety net and slide.

Social Care Social Work Improvement Scotland approved.
Registered with Edinburgh Council Food Standards Agency.
Fire Safety approved.
Member of Scottish Childminding Association.
Enhanced Disclosure Scotland checks.
My Availability
I am available 4 days a week, Monday to Thursday 7.45am until 5pm.
If you have any enquiries about availability please do not hesitate to contact me, I would welcome children to come along for a settling in period.

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
£7 per hour. Fees will include a healthy lunch, snacks and drinks, plus admission to toddler groups.
Baby bottles, baby milk, wipes and nappies should be provided by the parents/carers.
