About Me

**** please note, I am currently taking a break from childminding for a year while I return to teaching in August 2026. I am still available for babysitting in the evenings or weekends ****


I am 43 years old and live near the Clerwood area of Edinburgh with my two children, husband and our 2 friendly dogs. I am a kind, hard working and friendly individual. I also have a very good manner with any child in my care, firm but also fun!


I run an after school childminding business called Carrie On Childminding and I am available for after school childcare Monday - Thursday from Fox Covert Schools.

I like to think I'm a childminder with a difference! I like to be outdoors as much as possible with my own young children and my dogs and we can often be found exploring the woods at the Corstorphine Nature Reserve looking for "bears and dinosaurs!" Ideally, I'd like to have children in my care outside as much as possible, even helping us on our adventures!
