About Me

**** please note, I am only available for after school care Monday - Thursday from Fox Covert Schools or weekend babysitting ****

I am 39 years old and live near the Clerwood area of Edinburgh with my two children, husband and our 2 friendly labradors. I am a kind, hard working and friendly individual. I also have a very good manner with any child in my care, firm but also fun!


I run an after school childminding business called Carrie On Childminding and I am available for after school childcare Monday - Thursday from Fox Covert Schools.

I like to think I'm a childminder with a difference! I like to be outdoors as much as possible with my own young children and my dogs and we can often be found exploring the woods at the Corstorphine Nature Reserve looking for "bears and dinosaurs!" Ideally, I'd like to have children in my care outside as much as possible, even helping us on our adventures!

I am a registered childminder, qualified teacher and nursery nurse with over 20 years childcare experience in a variety of different settings - schools (Edinburgh, Lothians and Kenya), nurseries, nannying, tutoring and babysitting.

My Availability

Monday - Thursday after school pick ups until 530pm.

I can also do full time in the school holidays, and babysitting in the evenings/weekends.
