About Me
I am a mature single lady, who is available to work in your family home.. NNEB, DipSW. B.Sc (Hons) I have worked with children of all ages all of my life and have been CRB checked all of my working life.
I have been a home owner all my adult life and am well used to the problems that can occur whilst being responsible for someones home. I am well used to working on my own initiative and I am 100% reliable and responsible. I am extremely confident in all matters relating to children and parents would have no worries whatsoever regarding their home or their children. Both would be in excellent hands.
I have had pets (dogs, cat, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds ) all my life and so pets in a home are a bonus and they will equally receive good care and attention from me.
My interests are reading, writing, photography, internet, walking, knitting, sewing, cooking, craftwork I enjoy sharing these with children when appropriate.
I am a friendly, outgoing, flexible, reliable, punctual person, who enjoys the company of children and thrives on helping others.
Lastly, I am a car owner. I do not smoke and I do not drink.
My Experience
I have worked with children since the age of 16. First as a Nursery Nurse in an variety of Nursery settings (Day Nursery, Nursery School and Residential Nurseries) I was also the Deputy Manager in a 30 place residential nursery. I then worked as a Residential Child Care Worker. Later I worked as a Manager of several Children's Homes working mainly with troubled teenagers. I have also spent several years working as a private tutor for primary school aged children working mainly with the English subjects. I have been the full time carer for my grandson when my daughter returned to work. This also included all the baby sitting as well as caring for him full time over many weekends and also for the occasional weeks holiday. I am obviously confident dealing with doctors appointments, play Clubs etc
Due to my working career I have been CRB checked all of my working life.

My Availability
I can offer childcare support in your home. I can stay overnight if needed and care for your children for longer periods (having built a relationship first of course)
I work on a sole charge only basis.
I do not get involved in cleaning and housekeeping duties.
I am unable to work any school holidays due to other childcare commitments.
Nanny Services for children from Newborn to teenagers. I am happy to travel within a 10 mile radius of Stamford.
Private tutor offering literacy subjects for primary school children. Lessons will take place at my home. Fees for tutor £20.00 per hour.
