Hi, My name is Munira, I'm a mum to two grown kids but in reality I like to think I've been a mum to all the children who I've cared for with love.
I live in Kingston and have spent over 17 years dedicated to working with children - a career that has brings me so much joy and pride. I hold a Level 3 diploma in childcare and have a lot of experience working with children form all backgrounds, alongside being a mother of 20 years.
I am passionate about helping children thrive by supporting their health, happiness, and confidence as they grow and develop. I build warm, trusting relationships with the children and families I work with, while maintaining a consistent and professional environment. Through engaging play and learning experiences, I support creativity, communication, numeracy, and social skills, with a strong focus on fun, resilience, and building confidence.
I plan activities inline with the EYFS areas of learning so that time spent in play is beneficial not only physically but also mentally. Furthermore, using the observation and assessment criteria set out, I ensure that the children are progressing steadily and that I am meeting their needs.
I live in a spacious 5 bedroom house in Kingston, with a large garden and plenty of dedicated indoor play space. It is right next to a playground and park (5 minute walk) and surrounded by a lovely community who always have amazing playgroups and other activities. We love spending time outdoors rain or shine and are always up to something new.
I provide nutritious and well balanced home cooked meals to ensure children are full of energy - I can cater to any special dietary requirements.

My Qualifications
- Trained in Paediatric First Aid
- Qualified with ICP course.

My Availability
My working hours are Monday to Friday 7:30am-6:30pm (open to adjusting to what suits your needs).

- Childminding from £7.00 per hour

From children aged 9 months I do offer government funded 30 hours a week.

My son has been with Munira since he was one year old, and he is now just over three. I first met Munira when I would see her dropping off the children in her care at school while I was dropping off my older children.
Munira has been absolutely wonderful with my son – he truly adores her. He loves going to her setting, which offers such a fantastic variety of toys, a lovely large garden, and of course, his friends. During his time with her, he has learned so much and grown in confidence.
Munira is always very active with the children, both indoors and outdoors, and she provides a warm, engaging environment. My son especially loves her cooking (which is impressive as he can be quite a fussy eater!).
She is extremely kind, reliable, and supportive, and always willing to go the extra mile for the children in her care. I would 100% recommend Munira to anyone looking for someone caring, trustworthy, and dedicated to their child’s wellbeing.

We couldn’t be happier with the care our childminder provides. From the very beginning, she has shown warmth, professionalism, and genuine dedication to the children. Our little ones feel safe, happy, and well cared for every day. She plans engaging and age-appropriate activities that support their learning and independence. Communication is excellent, and we are always kept informed and reassured. Her home is a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. It’s clear she has a lot of experience and truly loves what she does. We would highly recommend her to any family looking for high-quality, trustworthy childcare.

Munira looked after my 2 kids starting from 2022 , she was always caring , trustworthy and flexible . My kids enjoyed being at her house . She was happy to help whenever I needed help with childcare which I really appreciate . I was lucky to have Munira nearby , and I can not recommend her enough .

Munira has looked after my daughter for over 13 years, starting from a very young age. I therefore can wholeheartedly say that she is the best person to take care of your child. Providing care during term-time and holidays, Munira’s timetable was flexible, being able to accommodate my working hours to take care of my daughter. Munira is always caring and thoughtful, doing everything she can to entertain all the children under her care, whether that be organising trips, games or activities to create core memories. She was always on time, never being late to school drop off or pick up and going out of her way to do everything she can to be helpful and accommodating. My daughter’s language skills were fostered under Munira’s care and she has grown up to be a kind and respectful girl, no doubt thanks to the influence of Munira and her extremely generous family. I have never doubted my child’s safety under the care of Munira, my daughter always came home smiling, laughing and well-fed with the delicious home-made meals that she was served. Thanks to Munira, my daughter hit all her developmental milestones early and has been thoroughly supported in her educational journey, resulting in her securing a place in a grammar school. Munira has become a second family to my daughter, supporting her in every way possible and certainly being the best childminder that one could ask for.

I feel incredibly fortunate to have found Munira as my children's childminder. Since they started primary school, Munira has provided a nurturing, safe environment where my children feel at home. They absolutely love spending time at her house before and after school.
Munira goes above and beyond in her care. She ensures they have varied, nutritious meals for both breakfast and dinner. Beyond the physical care, she also supports their emotional well-being, creating a warm, loving atmosphere that helps them thrive.
For me, Munira's home hasn't just been a place for my children to go after school – it has truly become a second home. Her dedication to their development, both physically and emotionally, is something that I deeply appreciate. I couldn’t ask for a better person to care for my children, and I am incredibly grateful for all that she does.

Munira loooked after our son Markus since he was 16 months old until he started reception school. She is very professional as well as affectionate and creates a warm and caring environment for the children she looks after. Markus developed a wonderful bond with Munira and was always looking forward to going to Munira’s home. It was great to see Markus being in a very safe and encouraging environment as he took so many milestones while in Munira’s care. Markus flourished socially as well while going to Munira and built strong friendships with his peers. We were very lucky to have Munira and are forever grateful for all the support and encouragement she provided to Markus and his early development.

Munira is an excellent childminder she has had my child from the age of 1 years old, she is always tentive to the child's needs and works well with the parents, all her meals are fresh and works within what the children require within all the food groups, my child absolutely loves her and I honestly couldn't recommend anyone better. She helps with there development at all stages and helps whenever needed. I can't thank munira enough for all the help she has given me and my child.
