About Me

My name is Antonia Robinson & I have been a professional nanny for over 22 years..

I am a qualified, caring and experienced Nanny, with an excellent record in child care over many years. & CRB checked, with good references and a well organised approach. Accomplished in providing complete daily care, cooking for nutrition and taste – enjoy cooking and freezing meals, supervising homework, entertaining children and help at hosting parties. A good communicator with a lively personality and good sense of humour, able to stimulate children through conversation and reading.

CAREER
April 2015 to July 2017.
Part time nanny / housekeeper in Hermitage.

Duties included; Looking after 2 children boy aged 7 and girl aged 5.
Picking children up from school.
Making packed lunch for the next day for both the children.
Family ironing.
Changing the bed sheets for the children.
Keeping bed rooms tidy.
Washing the children"s clothes.
keeping a nanny diary.
Discipline when needed firm but kind.

Daily full time nanny in Newbury
Sole charge care of 2 year old girl and in the holidays her 8 year old sister.
Duties include taking the little one to playgroups messy play and song time and story at the library.Taking them to the playground..
Daily care- dressing, changing, devising menus and cooking.

17th April 2012 to Feb 2014 - Hannington Hants.

Daily-Nanny to two boys from April 2012 .
Shared care two boys, (sole care when mother is working away) , then aged 1 & 3 years for 3 days a week between 7.30 a.m. and 5p.m. Duties include:

1) Daily care – dressing, changing, devising menu's and cooking, giving attention and affection, stimulating the children through talk and contact, play groups, messy play also trips to the library .
2 ) Keeping their clothing and wardrobe clean & ironed.
3) Potty & toilet training for the youngest child
4) School runs for the elder child.
5) Kind, but firm discipline when needed.


11th July 2011 to 27th Jan 2012 - Basingstoke Hants.

Daily-Nanny to a single boy since July 2011 upon her mother’s return to work as an Interior design consultant. Sole care of the child, then an 18 month old child, on 5 days a week between 8 a.m. and 6p.m. Duties include:

1) Daily care – bathing, dressing, changing, devising menus and cooking, giving attention and affection, stimulating the child through talk and contact, play groups, messy play, French oral playgroup also trips to the library & local town.
2) Keeping his clothing and wardrobe clean.
3) Intensive minding when the child was ill, taking him to the Doctor’s and carrying out medical instructions.
4) Kind, but firm discipline when needed.


23rd Sept 2010 to 8th July 2011 - Twickenham

Live-in Nanny to a baby girl since Sept 2010 upon her mother’s return to work as an solicitor. Sole care of the child, then 6 months old. 5 days a week between 8 a.m. and 8p.m. Duties include:

1) Daily care – bathing, dressing, changing, devising menus and cooking, giving attention and affection, stimulating the child through talk and contact, play groups, baby swim, tiny talk, gymberee and trips to the library & town to carry out the family weekly shop.
2) Keeping her clothing and wardrobe clean, washing and ironing.
3) Intensive minding when the child was ill, taking her to the Doctor’s and carrying out medical instructions, (the child had heart surgery at birth)
4) Kind, but firm discipline when needed.
5) Baby sitting 2 nights a week


May 2005 to Jan 2010 - Walton on Thames.

Live-in Nanny to baby girl since May 2005 upon her mother’s return to work as an accountant. Sole care of child, then a 5 months old. 5 days a week between 7 a.m. and 7p.m. Duties include:

1) Daily care – bathing, dressing, changing, devising menus and cooking, giving attention and affection, stimulating the child through talk and contact, play groups, Aqua tots and trips to the library.
2) As the child grew up, the nature of care changed and extended to driving her to and from school, ballet and swimming lessons.
3) Keeping her clothing and wardrobe clean, washing and ironing.
4) Intensive minding when the child was ill, taking her to the Doctor’s and carrying out medical instructions.
5) Kind, but firm discipline when needed.
6) Devising children’s parties and supervising visiting children, at play or while eating lunch.


Dec. 1999 to Feb.2005 - Baughurst, Hants.

Live-in Nanny to a baby girl, then 6 months and later a new-born baby boy. The position came about when the mother returned to work as a solicitor and the services of a caring and reliable live-in nanny were needed. Duties included the above and extra child minding duties, including:

1) Looking after two other additional boys, on 2 afternoons a week, collecting them from school, supervising homework and providing tea.
2) Babysitting, as required, for other families, Mon. to Fri. 7 a.m. to 7•30p.m., including ironing, silver cleaning and fridge / freezer cleaning.


1996 to Sept. 1999 - Norwich, Norfolk.

Live-in Nanny to 5 children, ages 6, 4, 3 years & 20 months also another born after 1996. An exceptionally busy and demanding role, requiring good time management and a gentle, but firm touch with the children. Duties, as above, but included taking the children to swimming lessons and weaning the new born baby onto solids.


1995 - Reedham, Norfolk.

Mother’s Help. A 6 month live-in care role for 2 children, a boy aged 4 years and another boy aged 19 months. Duties as above, including lots of household duties, such as cleaning.


1994 to 1995 - Cromer, Norfolk.

Nanny and Daily Help to 4 children, a boy aged 10 years & three girls aged 8, 6 & 3 years Duties as above, including:

1) Taking and fetching the 3 older children to and from school; and Helen to playgroup.
2) Caring for the elder child during asthma attacks.


1991 to 1994 Rainbow Superstore, Cromer, Norfolk.

General Assistant. A part-time position whilst studying at College. Duties were serving customers, shelf stacking / merchandising, assisting with stocktaking, operating the till and advising customers.


1990 to 1991 Highfield Residential Home, 3 St. Mary’s Road, Cromer, Norfolk.

General Assistant. One of the team, reported to the care home manager. Responsibilities were providing care to residents, washing, attending to their personal hygiene, feeding and providing conversation stimulus.


1990 Aldave House, Alfred Road, Cromer, Norfolk.

General Assistant. A first placement at this residential home, now closed, as one of the care team responsible for general duties, such as cleaning, washing and ironing.
