About Me
II am a type 1 diabetic so have the experience to care for a child with this condition.
I have over 22 years of experience in childcare and Education.I am looking for morning position as a nanny.
My Experience
I have been a nursery nurse for 22 years and have worked with children ranging in age from 6 months to pre-school age.
I love helping children learn through play and I have dedicated my whole working life to working with children.
My Qualifications
I have a level 3 qualificaton in childcare and a level 2 in safeguarding.
I have also got a food hygience qualification.
I have a peadiatric first aid certificate.
I have EYFS training and experience and I am also trained in the new EYFS which comes into use from September 2012.
I have also done the 2 to 3 year check training which is part of the new EYFS.
I have also done child protection training and EYFS the planning and observation course.
I have also completed working in partnership with parents course .
My Availability
I looking for morning position, as work for Nanny family in the afternoon’s.

I cannot recommend Rachel enough. She is fantastic! My daughter (age 3), has been with Rachel since early in September and she has settled in very well. Rachel has been very accomodating with my working hours and keeps me regularly informed as to my daughters progress. Some days my daughter doesn't want to come home with me which I take as a good sign that she is happy where she is.
Rachel's partner and stepdaughter are also fantastic, and my daughter now considers Rachel's stepdaughter as her friend.
The facilities Rachel has to offer children are varied from arts and crafts to age appropriate toys and letting off steam outside on the trampoline, slide, climbing frame and swing.
My daughter never comes home hungry as she is provided with healthy snacks straight after school.
We have half term coming up, and Rachel has a whole week of activities planned to which my daughter is really looking forward to.
Rachel provided a flexible introduction prior to my daughter starting with her which left me feeling very happy on my first full day of leaving my daughter in her care. New surroundings for little ones can be quite daunting, but Rachel and her family helped take away this worry by spending quality time with my daughter getting to know her early on.
I would highly recommend anyone looking for quality childcare to speak to Rachel and discuss your needs. I would be more than willing to meet with any persepctive parents to help alleviate any concerns you may have.
