About Me
Hi my name is Nicola and I am a Ofsted registered childminder, I live in Marton, Middlesbrough with my Husband Stephen and 2 children Lillie 22 and Poppy 19 who all hold a enhanced DBS certificate. We have a family dog called Ralph and cats who are very friendly.
I work with my husband Stephen who is a Ofsted registered childminders assistant , Stephen was a Ofsted registered childminder for over 12 years. I was awarded Good in my latest ofsted inspection which was January 2020 , myself and Stephen were awarded individually in May 2015 Outstanding from Ofsted, I was also awarded Outstanding on my previous Ofsted inspection in November 2008. My 2 daughters are Ofsted registered assistants and both hold a current First Aid Certificate ( they both have their own Full time jobs not at my setting)
I am registered with Middlesbrough council to offer care for funded places to 2 , 3 and 4 year olds
We offer a caring,fun and loving family environment whilst developing the children in all areas of learning through the EYFS.
My Experience
I have been a Ofsted registered childminder for 22 years, I have loved and cared for children of all ages from 4 weeks old to 13 years old.
I have had lots of experience in the learning and development of children in all ages.
Stephen and I have an excellent knowledge and understanding of the EYFS

Nicola and Stephen have provided exceptional care for my 6 month old daughter. I suffer with anxiety which only increased when I found out I was pregnant. Nothing has put me more at ease than knowing my girl is with these remarkable people.
We arrive and my daughter beams as she adores being at their lovely, welcoming home. She gets to be around other children which has brought her on developmentally. Spending time with various toys and games, inside and outside in their garden. They are caring, attentive and engaging with her as well she gets to go to many places (soft play, baby and toddler groups, libraries, parks etc.) which I never would have been able to take her to.
Their own children are also great with my daughter, I can often hear laughter when I pick her up. An enthusiastic and reliable couple who I will never be able to thank enough. I can highly recommend Nicola and Stephen to anyone, going to work and knowing your child is in capable safe hands is priceless.
