I have been working in childcare for the last 32 years, 16 years as a private nanny and have cared for newborns to teens and the last 16 as a childminder. I am NNEB (Level 3) qualified and hold a up to date dbs and social services check. (through ofsted) and First aid certificate, i also have a food hygiene certificate. I have taken my Unit 1 DHC certificate (childminders course) and numerous other courses.

Numerous courses and local authority courses
I am always attending new and updated courses to refresh my training.
My Availability
Monday to Friday,I will try to be flexible to suit your needs.
I do term time only contracts, as well as all year round.

- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
- Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
I can accept the goverment childcare scheme and childcare vouchers. And 2,3 and 4 year old 15 /30 hour funding.
My Local Schools

There really aren’t enough words to express how grateful we are for everything Nancy and Jo have done for our family. From the very beginning, they loved and cared for our little boy as though he was one of their own, and that is something we’ll never forget. Knowing he was safe, happy and genuinely excited to come each day gave us complete peace of mind. They’ve played such an important role in his early years, helping him grow into the funny, kind, confident little boy he is today. The love, patience, creativity and dedication they show every single child is truly something special, and it’s clear this isn’t just a job to them - it’s their passion.
As we say goodbye and prepare for preschool, it’s incredibly emotional because they’ve been such a huge part of our lives. We will always be thankful for the care, support and wonderful memories they’ve given our family. If you’re looking for a childminder who will treat your child like family, I honestly couldn’t recommend them more highly. Thank you for everything - we’ll be forever grateful.

What can I say about these 2 lovely ladies. Nancy and Jo have had both my children and I would not have had it any other way. Theyve given my children the best start to their learning journey.
I love how they are so nurturing, caring and kind. Nothing is ever an issue. My children absolutely adore them both and still are not able to comprehend that they will not be returning. I love how they set up curricular activities for the children. They are always entertained and busy.
It was definitely emotional to say goodbye for the last time.
Thank you to you both again.

Nancy has been an incredible childminder for our little girl. We started using her services when our daughter was just 6 months old and she has been our trusted caregiver ever since. Nancy's warmth and caring nature, coupled with her exceptional attention to detail, has given us complete peace of mind whenever we leave our daughter in her care.
One of the things we appreciate most about Nancy is the way she treats our daughter as if she were her own child. She has a real gift for connecting with children, which has allowed our daughter to form a strong bond with her. We know that when our daughter is under Nancy's care, she is safe, loved, and happy. Nancy also has a knack for keeping parents informed about their child's progress and sharing helpful tips on how we can best support our little one.
Overall, Nancy has been an amazing caregiver, day in and day out. Without reservation, we highly recommend Nancy for anyone in search of a caring and professional childminder who will treat your child like their own. She's been a remarkable addition to our family, and we are extremely grateful for all that she has done for us and for our daughter.

Like wise it has been a pleasure to care for your little girl for a few years watching her grow and develop ready for her next journey to big school.
My son has been with Nancy over the last 2 years, first full-time, then during the school holidays while he attended pre-school.
He has loved being in this setting from the get-go, always full of stories about what he's been doing and the friends he's made, and asking us when he can go back!
Nancy has been flexible, and communicative (the daily photographs have been so much fun to see). She's really easy to work with and i know our son will miss being there!

Such an amazing childminder couldn't recommend nancy and joe anymore! They look after the kids so well and my daughter enjoyed everyday with them, there days are filled with activities snd fun. My daughter especially enjoyed arts snd crafts, she always came back home with some new artwork. Nancy and joe have made me have such a amazing experience with childminders, they really are great. If youre looking for a childminder i really would recommend them. Thank you for looking after my ali i will forever be grateful for you being such a wonderful part of alis life.

We were very fortunate to have found Nancy when we moved to Bedford. Our daughter Naia was 2 years old when she started at Nancys and she really enjoyed her time there. They do a variety of activities at Nancys which really helped towards our little ones development. Nancy has always been great at communicating and caring for our little one. Even now 6 months later our little one still asks for her and misses her time there. I genuinely feel that Nancy took her time to understand our child and her individual needs and has worked with her based on this to help her develop her confidence as well as learning the alphabet. We couldn’t have found someone better. At Nancys all the children get involved in arts and crafts, outdoor/indoor play, various trips, parties and so much more. As working parents this isn’t something we’d be able to make the time to do. Thank you so much Nancy for all that you’ve done for Naia, we’re sad that we left due to finding a place at our local nursery which is across the road from us or otherwise Naia would still be there.

We chose Nancy to look after our 2 year old when we relocated to the area and couldn't have been more pleased with our choice. Our daughter has flourished under her care and is now more than ready for school.
Nancy has helped her develop in so many ways and has been such a big part of helping to shape the wonderful, funny and kind little girl that we have.
Nancy has gone above and beyond on countless occasions by helping us when we have been really unwell or have been struggling with some of the day-to-day challenges that come from being a parent. These are things that I wouldn't normally expect of a childminder, but is just one of the many things that make Nancy so wonderful.
The setting that Nancy has developed is brilliant and she takes the time to adapt the themes of the setting to the seasons or even to things that are currently in the news (like the Jubilee last year). She operates a structured day which is more akin to a nursery than a childminder, but still keeps her number small enough to provide plenty of 1-1 care (which our daughter really loves). This has really helped us all get ready for school and we can't be any more grateful for everything Nancy has done for us (especially helping so much with potty training!!)
She has been a wonderful support for both of us and our daughter and I honestly can't recommend her enough. If you are looking for a childminder, you should contact Nancy first!!

Nancy has been absolutely amazing. She is so down to earth and so committed to having lots of fun with the children. Our little girl was there from 2 years to almost 4 where she now attends pre school.
My daughter has had lots of fun with painting, going to the park, fun day activities such as the farm and soft play. She enjoyed the different parties Nancy has had (Chinese new year, Easter, Diwali, Halloween, Xmas) including the cakes they make, and other stuff they bring back. She is forever talking about going back and she enjoyed every moment.
As a parent, it's beautiful to see my daughter enjoying the activities. Also I enjoyed very much speaking with Nancy and getting to know her and the family. She is very passionate about her work and creating such a nice atmosphere. It's such an easy and natural choice to ask her as you know your child is in safe hands and will do an amazing job keeping my child fun and active.

My son has been at Nancys setting for two years, her warm and cuddly nature reassured me she would give him the comfort he needed whilst in her care. Nancy and Jo offer a variety of learning experiences such as dressing up, dancing, reading, walks, food preparation, tasting, water and sand play, painting, cutting and sticking. Nancy pays attention to significant days and prepares tailored activities for the children for the usual national holidays as well as days/weeks such as road safety awareness week, Diwali and nursery rhyme week. Louis is due to start school and I am confident that his time spent with Nancy and Jo has prepared him. I always felt I could contact her or speak to her anytime with any questions I have. They do an amazing job and I would highly recommend.
