About Me
I am a ofsted registered childminder graded "Good" and have been working as a child minder for 13 years i also work with another childminder. My 2 children are grown up now . I have a dedicated large playroom where the children are in a safe and secure environment and are welcomed in to a loving family. Each morning we go to a variety of different activities eg;~ library (sing and story time), fun factory(soft play),surestart play groups , parks, outings. The play room has lots of toys/ resources. Plus we have a large garden which we encourage the children to used and get some fresh air with lots of out door toys ie wendy houses/slides/ bikes/scooters/waterplay and sandpit, The garden has half decking area and half grass . The garden has high fences and is very secure. Gemma who works with me has been childminding for 2 years she also comes from a child care background (has been a private nanny for 10 years ). We have been friends for 11 years and work really well together. All parents in our setting are very happy with our service references availiable on request .
My Experience
I have been a childminder for 13 years and a mother for 30 years
Gemma qualified from college doing her NNEB nursery nursing then went to work in nurseries and nannied for 4 different families .
My Qualifications
Kim :-CACHE level 3 diploma home base childcare gradeB
safe guarding,lscb fire safety training, first aid,special educational needs training, healty eating course, makaton , HIV awareness for early years and early years training course.
Gemma :- NNEB nursery nursing diploma, first aid, LSCB safe guarding , Makaton (sign language) fire safety .
both me and gemma are always updating courses which will help improve our services and give children the best opportunity possible ready for nursery and schools as your child is our first priority.
