About Me

I am a trained N.N.E.B with several years experienced qualified in 1980 worked in the baby room of a day nusery for several years then several private nanny jobs then stayed at home with my own chidren still looking after other children then trained as a Pharmacy Technician and worked full time for 11 years in same pharmacy so very knowledgeable in childhood illness and treatment. Left due to relocation and enjoyed helping my daughter's out by having my 3 grandchildren and then decided would like to work with children again. Have been working as a Nanny again for 14 years and now have two more grandchildren. I relocated to Crawley West Sussex from Chertsey Surrey in August 2017 and initially stayed with my work family in Chertsey which I had been with since October 2016 looking after a then 3 month old boy and a 20 month old girl it was one day job which I did along side a three day job looking after a 31/2 year old girl with health problems brilttle bones and a heart condition and her 2 year old brother which finished August 2017 as mum went on maternity and I relocated from Chertsey to Crawley . I was looking for a job near Crawley but then my one day job in Chertsey offered it to me 4 days so I travelled from Crawley to Chertsey .for over a year but when little boy started nursery mum wanted to reduce my hours but to far to travel so worked in East Grinsted from October 2018 looking after a 4 & 6 year old girls 3 days a week, but the youngest started school in September, they want me to stay but reduce hours to before and after school but unfortunately not enough hours and too far to travel four times a day for a few hours . Along with this job did a one day job in Linkfield from February looking after a 9mth old boy and his 4 year old brother she offered me four day starting in September which I stared but unfortunately needed time off due to personal circumstances, understanbly she needed childcare so gave me notice. I did not worked until May 2020 ( as covid hit ) when I started looking after a 14mth old girl in Haslenere and a year later her little sister was born stay there until May 2024 but it was four long days a week with an hours journey each way . June 2024 started looking after 2 11mth old girls as a nanny share four days a week in St Margarets. This came to an end in September 2025 as one family had second child.
Been looking after two children a two and a half yr old boy and 5 yr old girl since October but have now left as wasn't really much childcare boy went to nursery two amd a half of my three days and mum didn't work and very involved so more a housekeeping role which I am happy to do alongside having little ones to look after.
Experience with all ages but most experiences with babies and toddlers and my favourite age to look after.
Looking for ideally 3 long consecutive days but can be flexible in either Surrey as my mother lives in Sunbury and I will staying there the days I am working or near Crawley where I live .
. Very active full of fun enjoy going swimming ,for walks,feeding ducks,baking, arts and crafts with my work children and with my grandchildren and my owm hobbies are keeping fit, swimming ,spinning, cycling and reading .
