I am Joanne Hanslip, aged 52 and have been a childminder for over 22 years originally Registering with Social Servies. I have been married for 25 years. On my last Ofsted Inspection I received a Good, with Outstanding Areas Grade.

I live in Marton, Blackpool near to Stanley Park, Zoo, etc.
I attend lots of activities at children’s centres such as Jo jingles/ petit academy/ sensory play/ messy play/ forest school/ tiddly om poms, etc.
I only have a tortoise as a pet, she is very friendly and can teach the children.
I come from a large family and so have always been around children.
My Experience
I am an Accredited, Specialist Childminder, which means I can claim the 2/3 year old grant, and I have experience of looking after children with Special / Additional Needs.
I am on all the local networks and attend the local Childrens Hub Centres.
I am also the Group Scout Leader for the local scout group.
My Qualifications
I have NVQ 3 in Childrens care and learning.
ICP / CCP / DCP - Introducing, Creating and Developing Childrens Practice.
