About Me
My name is Brenda I live with my husband and my 2 children aged 18 and 21. I live in Cramlington NE23 2BT. I am Ofsted registered and have just been rated as 'Good' on all 3 of my inspections.
I have a tortoise, 2 French Bulldogs and goldfish.
All children who attend my setting bring packed lunch so parents know what the child have eaten on the day. I do provide healthy snacks, Juice and water and I pay for all outings including soft play, toddler groups etc.
I’m able to offer the free 2-4 year old childcare spaces government funded. I also provide the 30 free hours and for 2 year old funding. I am able to receive payment via the Tax Free government system or childcare vouchers. So please feel free to contact me.
My Experience
Having 2 children of my own I have experience of how to love and care for a child ensuring they feel secure and safe. I feel the children I care for are just an extension to my own family.
We attend regular toddler groups, soft play and role play groups and do plenty of activities ensuring the children have plenty of fun while learning and exploring new things. I am also a member of the Forest Childcare Association and ensure children have plenty of outdoor play exploring there environment.

My Availability
Monday - Friday 7am - 5.30pm
I can do some 6pm finishes.
I don't work weekends.
I have full time and part time spaces available so please feel free to contact me.
I cover Cragside Primary School and nursery, but am welcome to cover others schools depending on requirements.
I also cover nursery drop off and pick ups and before and after school cover.
I’m also available for school holiday cover only and term time only.

Brenda has looked after both of my children and wouldn't send them to anyone else. Brenda started looking after my little girl when she was around 2 and then when I had my little boy she looked after him from about 6-7 month old as I had to return to work. they are looked after so well and I feel at ease that they are being looked after while I am at work. after hearing some quite bad reviews about other child-minders in the area i am so glad i chose Brenda to look after my children. They are always happy to go to her and always happy. they go out on day trips and always doing lots of activities. would definitely recommend Brenda if anyone else is looking for childcare :)

Brenda began caring for my son when he was only weeks old. It was daunting the thought of leaving my new baby with anybody other than myself! However, I felt very relaxed leaving him with Brenda so that I could complete my academic year at university, I trusted he was in best hands! And I was right.
I found Brenda to be very understanding and flexible with me as my lecture times would change from week to week and Brenda never let me down.
She is incredibly trustworthy, my son absolutely loved spending time with Brenda and the other children she cared for during the time, there were times he didn’t even want to come home!
I was given a daily record of times of feeds, nappies changes etc which was great to have too.
I’d recommend Brenda to anybody. Without her I’d never of been able to graduate, my partner and I appreciate everything she did for us. Thank you.
