About Me
My name is Georgina, or commonly known to all the children I look after as Gina, I have been registered with OFSTED for the past 20 years. I have lived in the Aldershot area for the last 20 years with my husband, David and 2 boys who are now grown up and living their own lives, oh and not forgetting the dog, Harley and our 2 cats Spot and Kat.
We live close to town, manor park and some lovely parks are within walking distance. I try to give the children a variety of experiences, from days out, toddler groups, craft activites and social interaction and I have a wide variety of resources and toys for the children to play, learn and have fun. I have an mpv which enables me to accommodate pick ups from both wellington community primary school and some of the local pre schools however when possible we do walk to get out and take in the local sights and sounds.
I feel that one of my strengths is that I can accommodate most needs and routines into my setting which has helped the children feel secure and comfortable in a safe homely environment. I also have great working relations with all the parents that I have worked with and have some lovely references.

My Experience
I have been childminding for approximately 20+ years, looking after children from the age of 9 weeks to 11 years old.
I also have 2 children of my own.
I have experience volunteering with a local children's football team for about 5 years for which I was also the first aider.
I ran a toddler group for a couple of years and volunteered with our local pre school.
I have first aid, safeguarding and food safety qualifications and my latest Ofsted grading was 'Good'. I also have a diploma in home based childcare.
My Qualifications
I have children's first aid and safeguarding training.
I also completed a diploma in home based childcare with an 'A' grade.
My last OFSTED inspection (2023) was graded 'good' and a copy of my report is available to look at on line.
My Availability
I pick up from Wellington community primary school.
My usual working hours are 7.00 am to 6pm but this is negotiable. Monday to Friday.

We feel incredibly fortunate to have Georgina as a Childminer care for our son, her adaptability to our family's needs was truly impressive. She has a warm and kind-hearted approach that made our son feel not only safe but genuinely cared for. Unfortunately, our family will be relocating to India, but we sincerely hope to have Georgina as our baby's childminder back with us upon our return. Her dedication and wonderful spirit makes her an invaluable caregiver. Thank you for everything Georgina!

we couldn't have found anyone better!!
only word i can describe Gina is as ''AMAZING''
finding a good child minder to look after my little girl was quite scary at first, however, as soon as we meet Gina, she totally put our mind at ease. she has such bubbly personality and nice clean house.
My little girl been going to Gina for over a year now and she absolutely luvs her . It didn't take long at all for my little girl to get comfortable with Gina, now she just jumps to her when she arrives to pick her up
Gina does plenty of outdoor activities with the children like taking them on nature trail, soft plays , picnic in the park and all...my little girl absolutely loves all the adventures and so does all the other children.
Gina is also very flexible with hours and she is happily takes on extra hours on request. which is so helpful .
Gina did 3 weeks trail period at the beginning which gave my little girl chance to get familiar with the environment and me to give us an idea of how we would both feel. It really was a great idea and made me feel so much more relaxed about returning to work after having my first baby.

My son has been going to Gina for 7 months now after I returned to work Part Time back in February. It was a very hard decision finding someone we trusted enough to take care of our son, but I have to say Gina does a great job. She has a very friendly character & makes me feel confident that my son is in great care whilst with her. Her house has a very homely feeling, with lots of great toys indoors & outdoors to play with and shes always doing different things with the kids from Toddler groups to Soft Play, Parks, walks & lots more. Shes also very flexible, which I needed due to an early start. My son has learnt alot so far in her care & plays & shares with other kids really nicely, which im sure hes learnt whilst in Gina's care. I would definately recommend Ginas Childcare to anyone in need of a childminder.
