I am a fully qualified and Ofsted registered and self-employed childcare practitioner, providing home childcare to families in need of fun and loving personalised childcare.
I have worked as a Key Worker, and Deputy at an Ofsted rated Outstanding Nursery for 12 years and I am now registered with Ofsted and HMRC as a self-employed Home Childcarer/Nanny, while I plan to study a degree in Child Psychology. I pay my own tax and national insurance, and simply invoice for the hours we agree for me to work.
I am qualified to level 3 in Childcare and Pre-school Practice and I have Special Educational Needs and Disability training. I hold a higher level safeguarding certificate, paediatric first aid certificate, food hygiene certificate, any many others. I have a clear enhanced DBS for home childcare and Public Liability Insurance specifically for Nannies. I have good references, on request, and use of my own car, car seats, pushchair and other childcare essentials if needed. I have links with local toddler groups/drop-ins, childminders, schools and childcare settings in South Oxford.
I worked as a Key Person and Deputy for 12 years at a Nursery in South Oxford, rated Outstanding by OFSTED. I have two years experience as a self-employed home childcarer, working part-time for many different families alongside eachother. I can also offer Nanny Share agreements, where I have children from two families at the same time. Many references on request.
Level 3 diploma in childcare & many other childcare-based qualifications
I am currently working for a number of families, but I may be avaliable in the future as and when people's childcare needs evolve.

Beth took care of our 16-month-old boy in September and October as we were waiting for nursery to start. He really liked her and they got a great connection with immediately. Beth is very kind, always with a warm smile and full of energy and ideas, so there wasn’t a minute where she didn’t invent new activities, with our little-one’s laughter resounding through the house. She is a very experienced professional, and this was evidenced many times by the confidence and effectiveness with which she dealt with unexpected situations. Beth did everything to keep us and our son happy, and we have full confidence in her. She has excellent communication skills and offered us a lot of advice from her long experience and training, which we find useful until today. Beth only stopped working for us because we got a place at the nursery, but she is and will be our first port of call any time we need any help with childcare. We recommend her unreservedly.
