We cannot recommend Vicky at Little Puffins highly enough. From the very beginning, she completely put me at ease. I was extremely anxious about my daughter starting childcare, but Vicky took the time to explain everything clearly, including safeguarding, health and safety policies and so on, which gave me so much reassurance and confidence.
The setting is always spotlessly clean, safe, and welcoming. Vicky is incredibly proactive with the children — they are always out and about at forest school sessions, role play centres, the park, and exploring new environments. This suits our family perfectly as we are very much an on-the-go family, and it’s wonderful knowing my daughter is experiencing so much variety and outdoor play.
Vicky is warm, friendly, and genuinely caring. My daughter is always excited to go, which speaks volumes about the environment and the bond she has built with her. She is also extremely flexible and understanding, fitting around mine and my partner’s unsociable work schedules, which has been a huge support for our family.
We feel incredibly lucky to have found Vicky and Little Puffins, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to any parent looking for a caring, professional, and trustworthy childminder.

Vicky has been looking after our youngest since he was just 6 months old (now 3), and also cares for our 7-year-old during the holidays, and we’re so lucky to have found her! She is kind, caring, and truly treats the boys as if they were her own.
Her home is warm and welcoming, with a fantastic playroom full of engaging activities. The children are constantly out and about - trips to the beach, parks, and local outings - which we absolutely love. They have so many fun experiences and are always excited to tell us about their day.
She is also incredibly flexible and has been such a huge help with school runs, which makes such a difference for our family. Most importantly, our boys adore her and are always happy and settled in her care. We couldn’t recommend her highly enough.
