About Me
INTRO:
We are a kind family of five, with two professional parents and three lovely young boys, 14 years, 12 years and 3 year old, seeking a full time nanny to start in September 2025. We live in SO32 2BD.
THE BOYS:
Our boys are happy, fun, playful and great company. They love a variety of activities, from swimming, lego, arts and crafts, cooking / baking, music and playing in the park. They are healthy, aside from one having minor eczema and a nut allergy (epipen). The two older ones are both in the same school, which they both really enjoy.
THE HOUSE / ROOM:
We are open to live-in or live-out nannies. For live-in nannies:
We are based in Botley, Hampshire, with plenty of green space on our doorstep.
DUTIES:
The individual would have sole charge of the boys, and responsible for their well-being, safety and development.
Duties include everything relating to the boys (cooking, cleaning, tidying their rooms, everything relating to school, doctor visits, etc.).
Duties do not include general housework or anything for the parents. We have a house cleaner every other week.
Possible travel with the family on holidays may be available, but would be subject to discussion and agreement on an ad hoc basis.
My Requirements
HOURS:
Monday to Friday: 7:30am - 7pm
PAY:
£2,700pcm net
NANNY REQUIREMENTS:
** 6 years + nanny experience.
** Unconditional interest in the children, their well being, education and individuality.
** Organised. This is essential. You would have sole charge of the boys, and so we need someone who is naturally highly organised and be trusted to deal with timely homework, staying on top of school uniform and other school admin.
** Driver. We have an automatic car for use by the nanny, for play dates etc.
** Excellent English language. In order to help the boys with their phonics, development, home work and bed time reading. So, either a native speaker, or someone whose English is very strong.
** Cooking. Someone who takes a genuine interest in ensuring the boys are eating well, including several home cooked meals each week. We aren't seeking a chef! But someone who does not rely on pre-prepared food is important.
** First Aid. Safety is essential, so a DBS and first aid certificate is critical.
Most of all, of course, you should love children and enjoy being around them, caring for them and helping them develop into polite, caring young men!
