About Me

Hello, I am an NNEB nursery nurse and I live in Layton, near to Stanley Park and the Hospital, with my husband and daughter.
My home and garden provide a safe and stimulating environment for all ages and I have lots of age appropriate toys and resources. Living near Stanley Park I make the most of its wonderful provisions all year round allowing children to learn and explore in nature. I enjoy visiting the library and attending local toddler groups, the zoo and Blackpool attractions. I love reading stories and singing with babies and children to promote their communication and language skills.

My Experience

I have worked in childcare since 1990, gaining experience with newborns and within local nurseries and schools. As a Registered Childminder I have received 'OUTSTANDING' in 2007/08, 2010/11 and 2015/2016 in my previous Ofsted inspections. I have worked closely over the years with our Local Authority Early Years Team to keep up to date with all new Ofsted regulations and required training.

My Qualifications

NNEB nursery nurse.
Paediatric First Aid, renewed every 3 years.
EYFS compliant training in all areas of Safeguarding, (including child protection, food hygiene, food allergy awareness, safer sleep, healthy eating and many more courses)
EYFS compliant training in all areas of child development (including, arts and crafts, music and movement, outdoor play, behaviour management, SEN, speech and language and many, many more).

My Availability

My working week is Monday - Thursday offering flexible fixed sessions depending on availability.

My Fees

  • Childminding from £6.00 per hour

My fees start from £50 per day, (which includes breakfast, dinner, tea and healthy snacks).
Extra after hours/hourly rate - £6 per hour.
Eligible to accept 15/30 hr Childcare funding for 9mth+
I also accept childcare voucher schemes.
