Perfect

I cannot recommend Anna highly enough – she has been the most incredible childminder for my daughter from the age of 2 until almost 5. From the very beginning, Anna made us feel completely at ease with her warm, caring, and professional approach. 


Anna goes above and beyond in everything she does. Every single day is filled with fun, creativity, and new experiences. She organises the most wonderful and regular trips out – from local parks and playgroups to farms, airports and nature walks. She meets with a group of other childminders so there was opportunity to collaborate on special events such as the music bus and Christmas specials – giving the children such rich opportunities to learn and explore the world around them. At the same time, she provides a loving, homely environment where each child feels safe, valued, and supported. I am an early years teacher and Anna's own standards for what is healthy, safe and appropriate match my own high standards. I do not worry about her while she is there.


Her dedication to the children’s development is outstanding. She always plans thoughtful activities that encourage learning through play, and I’ve seen my daughter’s confidence, independence, and social skills flourish under her care. Anna has a natural gift for nurturing children, balancing kindness and patience with clear routines and expectations, which has been invaluable in preparing my daughter for school.


What I appreciate most is how much Anna genuinely cares. She treats each child as an individual, tailoring experiences to their interests and needs. Communication has always been excellent – she keeps parents fully informed using the BabyDays app and shares the little moments that mean so much, which made me feel part of my daughter’s day even when I wasn’t there.


My daughter absolutely adored her time with Anna and often came home bubbling over with excitement about what she had done that day. As a parent, there is no greater reassurance than seeing your child so happy, settled, and thriving.


Anna is everything you could wish for in a childminder: reliable, trustworthy, inspiring, and endlessly caring. We feel so lucky to have had her in our lives during these important early years. She has given my daughter the best possible start, and we will always be grateful.

Incredible Childcare Provider!

I feel like I won the lottery finding Anna for my little boy! Oliver has been with Anna for 2 and a half years and has had the best start in life thanks to the love and care he has received from Anna.

Anna is amazing, she is so thoughtful and how she manages to stay so well organised while still making sure the children have the best time, I will never know!

Anna making sure she takes the children out is one thing, but taking them to some of the most incredible places was completely over and above any expectations. Oliver has been to the airport, the beach, the farm, national trust venues along with some fantastic parks and this is just to name a few.

Every day has felt like a new adventure for Oliver and for me to be able to receive regular updates either through the app or direct to me of photos and videos of all the fun he has been having has been wonderful. Anna also has a great home setting, the house is always clean and with so much space for the children to play and endless toys, games and crafts!

I really do feel so lucky to have found Anna and I know that any other parent should feel lucky too! I really can't recommend her highly enough and we will miss her thoroughly!

Outstanding

Anything that I write here will be an understatement to describe how amazing Anna is.
Anna took care of our child since he was 1y old, and I could not be more grateful with the care, love and dedication she gave to our child these 3 years.
Everyday I would bring my child to her house, I was sure he will have a day full of adventures, fun and love. Anna is a very loving childminder and that shows in the relationship/bond she creates with the children. My child was always happy to come to anna's.
For us a parents, it was a relief to have found her and know that she would take care of our kid with the same love and dedication that we will do it.
One particular aspect that I would highlight is how organised she is, she always had weekly activities planned, specially outdoors which for us was really important. There was always something interesting for the kids to do and learn. She provides the kids with a nurturing environment that helps them develop physically and mentally.
Another aspect I would like to highlight is home setting, her house is clean, organised, with open spaces for the kids to play, specially the play room and her garden.
Building the relationship was easy, as she is very transparent, attentive and flexible and she make sure we had daily communication/updates /photos about our child.
I cant thank her enough for the care and help she gave us for the last 3 years.
She is really amazing.

Outstanding childminder

It is impossible for this review to do justice to Anna and the amazing work she's doing. I cannot recommend Anna highly enough. Our 3 children have been with Anna since 2019.

Anna is extremely caring and forms a great bond for the children, especially the little ones when they're away from their primary care givers for the first time. Her house and garden are ideal for the children to play and learn in. She's very active with other childminders in the area which means that the children get the best of both worlds - small intimate setting at Anna's but still access to bigger groups of children at the various playgroups our outings she organises.

Whenever she can, Anna will be outdoors with the kids (regardless of the weather) and it is something we're very grateful for. She's very good at giving the kids age appropriate tasks to help them become independent and strikes the right balance between nurturing and holding boundaries.

Exceptional!

If I could give more stars, I would!

Anna is an incredible childminder - she made my son feel welcome and at ease from day one. Her setting is lovely, she is very attentive with the children and offers plenty of opportunities for them to explore outside and to playgroups. She's extremely flexible and happy to work around our family's needs. She also a genuine person and very easy to get along with.

Amazing Childminder & Setting

I don’t even know where to start! Anna is such an amazing childminder and we are so lucky to have had her as a Childminder for Emily.

From day 1 Emily loved going to Anna’s feeling so comfortable in her beautiful clean home and with her lovely family as if she was one of her own.

Emily would be so excited and ask each morning if she was going. Emily formed great friendships with the other children and had such fun with them everyday.

Anna always did amazing things with Emily, they always went on days out to amazing places or they were creating lovely things in her home or playing in the beautiful garden.

Anna provided Emily with a great lunch which she always enjoyed.

We were kept well informed about all that Emily done on a daily basis with lots of wonderful photos and an explanation of what they had been up to. Anna gave us all the photos on a memory stick to keep when we left which was amazing.

We moved to a different county so unfortunately even though we would have loved Anna to come with us we had to leave which was extremely sad.

I have older children and have never had such an amazing experience with a childcare provider!

If you want to have the most amazing lady looking after your child then Anna is a must! 100% the best in the industry!

Simply the best

Anna looked after our baby boy from the age of 6 months until he was 13 months old and Anna was a true blessing.
As a first time mother I was really anxious about leaving my baby but Anna was so understanding and reassuring when we met her. She also introduced us to her beautiful children who were so polite and very kind, which was a great sign for us - we could tell that she would be the best childminder!
Anna has an amazing set up for babies / children: playroom filled with great toys, big and airy main room where our son Gabriel gained confidence and learnt to crawl and walk, beautiful massive garden and very cute rabbits! We were also sent photos of Gabriel showing the many different activities Anna organised for him and the other children she looks after on a daily basis and also daily notes about his day, what he ate, nap times etc. Anna was so informative and great at communicating.
Gabriel was so happy from day one up until his last day. He loved Anna and her children so much. He learnt so much in his 7 months at Anna's and we cannot thank her enough for it.
Sadly we moved house too far away from Anna's for her to keep looking after Gabriel. I actually cried when I went to pick up Gabriel for the last time as I knew that Gabriel will miss her a lot, and so will we. I really wish we could have taken Anna with us!

Thank you, Anna

Our daughter was with Anna from age 1 to 3. In that time her confidence grew immensely and she formed lots of friendships while in Anna’s setting as well as a strong bond with Anna and her family.
The setting is perfect for little ones. It’s clean, tidy and there’s lot of space for play. Anna also takes the kids out to many different places, which was a massive bonus for us. Our daughter got to experience the outdoors and learn about the local area as well as attend play groups and meet up with other children and their Childminder’s. Anna is very active in the childminder community and takes her job very seriously to the benefit of all the children she looks after. She is proactive and always teaching the children something new, whether it’s arts and crafts or how to flip a pancake!
We were kept informed about all the details of our daughters day through the baby days app as well as from Anna at the pick up each day.
We are so pleased we found Anna when we did, we had recently moved to the area and she gave our daughter the best introduction to Horsham and to life outside the family home.

The BEST

Our son has been with Anna for 2,5 years until he started school in September. He absolutely loved every day with her and she has helped us to form a happy, positive and confident little boy.

When we first started to look for a child minder we didn't know where to go but then we found Anna at Childcare.co.uk and after meeting her I was sure that she was the one. What we like the most is that here home is always clean and tidy with a lot of toys to play with and a big garden to play in. We really appreciate that she takes the children to diffrent play groups, outdoor playing, to the beach in the summer, for a long walk in the forrest or other fun and good activities every week.

We can highly recommend Anna, she is a warm, happy and caring person and we are happy to still have our daughter with her for another year.

Best childminder in the industry!

My daughter has been with Anna for 3 years and recently left to start school hence why I felt the need to leave a well deserved review. We chose Anna as we loved her profile, everything from the range of activities she offered to the description of her family and home setting. Everything you read, she delivers! My children feel like a huge part of her family (my younger son also goes to her)

She provides the perfect balance of activities indoor and outdoors, season and weather permitting and plans the daily activities well in advance in the event that you need to pack wellies/waterproofs/swimwear. My children have done everything from, arts and crafts, baking (she’s a former chef), stories, country parks, beach days, petting zoo trips, National trust days, playgroups, the list goes on and in a nutshell, Anna loves what she does and is enthusiastic about broadening the children’s minds in every way possible. Anna also goes over and above her duties to work with the Octopus childminding group arranging many days out/play dates and has worked tirelessly in the past to fundraise for playgroups for our children to attend.

She has a fantastic home with huge rear garden where she grows fruits/veggies, has huge bug hotels, playhouse, Alfie the bunny, lots of great toys and equipment. The child friendly layout is safe and secure, has a beautiful playroom and has nice quiet rooms for naps, it’s also immaculately clean and has great parking out front.

Anna also uses babydays which is a great communication software tool for photographs, daily journals, contracts, risk assessments, medical info, invoices etc, all stored in one place. The App is available for quick and easy access and we love it as a family as you can also add your own photographs and observations for Anna to see what your child gets up to at home, very useful for pre talkers.

We highly recommend using Anna as a childminder. She’s an organised, happy, lovely lady who sets clear boundaries yet shows so much love and warmth to the children and my kids have an enormous amount of respect for her. My daughter misses her so much now she’s at school however on behalf of her, we thank you for all your hard work the last few years. You’re her fairy godmother and make the best meatballs she’ll ever eat! Five stars from us!
