Geraldine has been caring for our three children and has been a true blessing to our family for six years.

We first met Geraldine when my oldest son, now turning seven, was a baby. He immediately took to her and sat calmly and comfortably in her arms. It was clear from the outset that she is naturally wonderful with children. The setting was immaculately clean, and Geraldine herself was very calm and pleasant to talk to. We had a good feeling straight away.

We have had various experiences with childcare providers, but Geraldine never disappointed us. She was with us through the birth of both of our daughters and supported us during some of the most uncertain times, such as the arrival of a new baby. Throughout all these years, she was never late, always informed us well in advance about any time off, and even went above and beyond by trying to find a replacement when she was on holiday. This often worked out, as Geraldine has a wide support network of other childminders. As a result, the children in her care also had opportunities to socialise with peers, as she and other childminders regularly attended various activities together.

Geraldine is very physically fit, always on the move and full of energy. She proved wonderfully flexible during unpredictable times, such as hospital stays. At the same time, having successfully raised five children of her own, she is mature, patient, and deeply experienced. Her calm nature always put my children at ease. My youngest, who would not normally even allow my husband to take her into a different room from me, became so comfortable with Geraldine that she would look at the door and wait for her every morning!

We no longer required Geraldine’s services when I stopped working. Saying goodbye to her was hard. But we are certain that Geraldine will be of immense help to another family, just as she was to ours.

Fantastic, loving childminder

Geraldine was actually recommended to me by Killigrew school as I was struggling to find a childminder who would do the nursery pick up. I feel so lucky to have found her as my very sensitive daughter, is so settled in her care. All I can say about Geraldine is she is superwoman! I don't know how she does it. My daughter absolutely loves her to bits and is always asking me to "send Geraldine a picture of this mummy". They go on adventures to Willows farm, gym club, parks and soft play. The children all have such a lovely bond. I highly recommend Geraldine as a childminder. She is super organised, loving to the children and flexible.

Excellent Childminder

I cannot recommend Geraldine enough! She has been looking after my children since they were six months old, they are now 12 and 8. Geraldine is an active member of many toddler groups and play centres, meaning that my children became very sociable at a very young age, and now integrate into every situation very well. For my children, the school holidays are the best part of spending time with Geraldine, they do many days out including Zoo's and national parks, they have a fabulous time. Geraldine has a beautiful welcoming home, with many activities for the children to take part in, although much of their time is spent out and about, which is what I love most about the environment they spend their time in. Geraldine is extremely flexible and operates her childcare business like a well oiled machine ...... Highly highly recommended!
