Celma and her sister Vanda run a very structured setting with great outdoor play areas for the children in their back gardens , as well as multiple play rooms indoors. There is the genuine sense of extended family as there are various members of their own family and Portugues community working with them.
Their homes are spotlessly clean. Certainly the cleanest of all the places I viewed.
The care is in the style of a small nursery. We appreciated that there was always good cover of staff for holidays and sickness so that we received continuity of care.
We wished we received more detailed communication regarding our daughter's daily activities, although there was a daily template sent out with some basics each day. I have heard from other parents that they were able to receive more of this information if they could collect their child at a less busy time, however we were always using Celma's service from 08.00 - 18.00 to the maximum.
We know our daughter really enjoyed her time here and so we kept her in for 1 day a week even when I went on maternity leave again. She learned excellent manners and sharing skills amongst the other normal milestones.
