Hi, I'm Purnima, and I've been providing exceptional childcare services since 2008. With a warm and nurturing approach, I aim to create a home away from home for your little ones.
At my residence, you'll find a smoke-free environment with plenty of space for play and exploration. Equipped with an inviting playroom and a spacious garden filled with a variety of play equipment, there's no shortage of fun activities for children to enjoy.
I believe in working closely with parents to ensure the best possible care for their children. Through regular updates via WhatsApp and termly EYFS observation and assessment sheets, you'll always be informed about your child's progress and daily activities.
With my two lovely daughters and husband, who holds a DBS check from both OFSTED and the London Borough of Newham, your child will be welcomed into a caring and supportive family environment.

My Experience
I'm incredibly grateful for the wonderful reviews from the parents who have entrusted me with their children over the years. Their kind words truly reflect the quality of care I strive to provide. Since becoming a registered childminder in January 2008, I've had the privilege of working alongside an assistant, continuously gaining valuable experience. From caring for children as young as 4 months to those up to 10 years old, my journey has been enriched by nurturing young minds. As a mother to two delightful daughters, aged 23 and 19, I understand the joys and challenges of parenthood firsthand.
My Qualifications
I'm proud to be OFSTED registered, with my most recent inspection in October 2018 resulting in a "GOOD" rating. Additionally, I hold various certificates and qualifications to ensure the highest standards of care:

My Availability
Monday to Thursday 7 am till 6 pm
My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
The fee structure will be tailored to accommodate the specific childcare hours/days required by parents, and will be discussed accordingly.

I cannot recommend Purnima and her setting highly enough. She cared for my son from the age of 1 year and 2 months until he turned 3, throughout that time she provided such a loving, safe, and nurturing environment for him.
From the very beginning, she made me feel completely at ease (and I had been to see many other Childminders). Our son settled in quickly thanks to her patience, warmth, and genuine care. It was clear every day how much attention she gave to his emotional wellbeing, development, and happiness and this also reflected on all the other children she cares for.
Over the time he was with her, we saw him grow so much in confidence, communication (as he was only a Spanish speaker when he started), social skills, and independence. She always kept us updated on his progress and activities, and we truly appreciated the effort she put into creating fun, educational, and engaging experiences for him.
What stood out most was how caring Purnima and everyone within her setting are. I always knew my son was in safe hands and being looked after as if he was part of the family. He absolutely loved spending time within her setting which gave us enormous peace of mind as parents.
Until this day he still mentions her and misses his friends.
We are incredibly grateful for everything she done for us over the last two years, and we will always look back on this period with appreciation. Any family would be lucky to have her care for their child.

Purnima has been an amazing childminder, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. From day one, I always felt completely at ease leaving my daughter in her care. Purnima’s regular updates and excellent communication gave me peace of mind and reassured me that my daughter was happy, safe, and well looked after.
My daughter absolutely loved her time with Purnima. She made such wonderful friendships and enjoyed every moment she spent there. It has been such a positive and enriching experience for her, and she genuinely misses Purnima and all of her friends dearly.
We are so grateful for the care, kindness, and support that Purnima has provided over the years. She has played such an important role in my daughter’s early years, and we will always keep in touch. I would wholeheartedly recommend Purnima to any parent looking for a caring, trustworthy, and dedicated childminder.

My little one. My son started when he was 2, just recently left at the age of 4.
I am so happy Purnima has been their to look after him for the last 2 years and made my experience great as a first time parent.
I saw on son grow, develop and learn things whilst In her care and get him ready for the next stage.
She is very professional, pleasant, understanding, shows care and really take an interest in the child development and care.
Highly recommended Purnima.

Purnima first started looking after our little boy when he was 10 months old, he was a very sensitive shy and particular baby. Since being with Purnima he has grown to become a confident, polite, clever boy who doesn’t stop chatting. Purnima has become part of our family, sharing the joys of watching him grow.
She offers fantastic advice and nothing is ever too much for her and Wendy. They encourage learning through play, arts and crafts and time in the garden. The facilities are welcoming and clean with toys for every child’s interests. I wouldn’t want to leave my child anywhere else.

I approached Purnima when my daughter was 1 and it was the best decision as I have had absolutely stress free workdays ever since. She helped settle my daughter well initially as she was a sensitive child. Purnima has helped with overall development and we can see that reflect in the child. Her facility is extremely clean and well maintained. Purnima along with her assistant Wendy were the best start I could ask for my little one. Highly recommended!

Purnima looked after my daughter from 9 months up until she was 2 years old. She was professional, knowledgeable and friendly from the outset. I never had to worry and my daughter loved Purnima, her family and Wendy so much! We shared so many of my daughters first milestones and Purnima was just as invested as we were. I loved hearing about what they’d been up to at the end of day and I often leaned on her for advice. I could not recommend Purnima enough.

Purnima has been AMAZING with my little one. He’s been with her just shy of two years and I can honestly say, I couldn’t have found a better person to be part of his journey and helping him grow.
Her love and care for the children goes beyond that of a childminder; she’s become family for my son.
It was with a very heavy heart that we are leaving for school, but we will forever be grateful for her care, attention and guidance.

My daughter came here from 5 months. Purnima setting is perfect, she has so much to offer the young children, does theme days, loads of outdoor play, arts and craft. She looks after your children like her own. My daughter was extremely happy here and never wanted to leave. If you are looking for a kind, caring, helpful and trustworthy Childminder she is the perfect match! She is also flexible where possible. I am a SENDCo so know a lot about quality education, Purnima is Outstanding, my daughter's learning was also catered for. She provides a broad and widen curriculum for the young children.

What can I say? Purnima started looking after my son from the age of 11months till he was 3 and a half. Immediately I stepped into the house I knew this was a place I wanted my son to be. Thankfully he made himself comfortable and already exploring. He has loved every minute of his time with Purnima and all the other kids and asks about them to date. My son had allergies and needed extra attention which he got plenty of.
Purnima is flexible when needed to be and her childcare setting is bright, clean, fun, safe, and includes an outdoor space. Lastly, let add that she is a lovely person.
We were happy with her service and I would highly recommend her.

No words can do justice to this childcare provider! Purnima is truly the most loving, caring, patient person I have ever come across, from the very first moment I met her she made me and my son feel welcome. Purnima truly loved and adored my little man as if he was her own! Supported him to write his name at the age of 3 , add numbers and create the most beautiful pictures using a diverse range of art and crafts materials. Purnima truly taught my little one how to love learning, playing and sharing three of the most impythings your child needs when transitioning into school. My son still talks abit her everyday and he truly loves his Purnima!
