About Me
I am the daughter of a former British Army Officer and was educated overseas in Germany, Hong Kong and Northern Ireland. On my return to the UK in 1994 I studied for two years to gain my NNEB Diploma in Nursery Nursing and have since settled in Abingdon with my husband and daughters.
I am committed to providing an excellent childcare service which welcomes families and offers a homely, safe, fun, healthy and caring environment.
The number of children in my care will be kept to a minimum to benefit the individual needs of each child and to ensure an excellent quality of attention and care for all. I believe that this along with my experience and qualifications will offer a high quality service for all families.
I offer a range of activities, experiences and opportunities including and not limited to visiting parks, toddler groups, local library and children's centre.
My home includes a variety of indoor and outdoor resources including puzzles and games, dressing up, wooden train set, construction toys, play kitchen, musical instruments, threading, slide, tunnels and sand tray.
Creative activities include sticking, painting, play dough, cooking, gardening, cutting, chalking, drawing and junk modelling.
I enjoy the outdoors and encourage outdoor activities what ever the weather.
In my spare time I enjoy walking, jogging, cooking, gardening, reading and spending time with family and friends.

My Experience
During my career in childcare I have cared for children between the ages of 0-13 years in a variety of settings which are; as a Nursery Nurse in a private day nursery, a classroom assistant in a school, as a nanny in the families home and most recently as a mum to my daughters born in April 2009 and November 2013.

DBS cleared
Generalist and Specialist Safeguarding training
Level 2 in Food Safety and Hygiene
Registered as a food business.

My Availability
I currently have a space available on a Monday and Tuesday.
My childminding hours are Monday to Thursday between 8am and 5pm with flexibility if needed.
I currently drop off and collect from Drayton
community primary school.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £8.00 per hour
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
I provide a healthy balanced home cooked lunch and evening meal prepared from fresh ingredients and breakfast is also available if needed.
Fresh fruit and vegetable snacks are offered in the morning and afternoon
