About Me
I have been a childminder since 2001 living in Bromley Heath. Downend for the same amount of time. I am married with 2 very grown up children, eldest daughter living in Frampton Cotterell and youngest living in Bradley Stoke. I am also a proud Nanny to 2 grandchildren.
My Experience
Since becoming a childminder I have completed an NVQ 3 in childcare for which I achieved all 5 sections at Grade A, I also regularly attended various training sessions on child protection, child inclusion, paediatric first aid, food hygiene, child's play, speech and language, behaviour management all to name but a few.
A childs day is centred around their individual needs which includes play, learning, building confidence and meeting their development requirements through craft, outside play, free play, adult lead and independent play and activities, ensuring all recommended learning areas are covered in preparation and readiness for school.
