About Me

Hi, my name is Amanda Paterson and I'm a registered childminder in Balerno, Edinburgh. I provide home-from-home child care in a 2-bedroom semi-detached house with a very large, secure outdoor area for play. Various indoor and outdoor activities are available for every age.
I am a mother to one child who is 21 and attending uni. We have 3 pets: 1 pug, 1 outdoor cat and 1 bearded dragon.

I aim to provide a warm, caring, and friendly environment where children can grow and develop safely and feel valued and respected.

Children are involved in most of our planning. Our themes follow their interests and ideas.

Educational fun: Arts & Crafts, Baking, Soft Play, Library story time, Parks, Toddler groups (local)-Walks, Picnics, Gorgie farm and many other outdoor activities- Museum visits.

Mon-Fri 7.30am-9.00am

I offer breakfast club with a drop off service to Deanpark Nursery, Compass Playgroup and Deanpark Primary School

After-school care with a pick-up service from DeanPark Primary School

School term and non-school term contracts available.
Holiday club available.

I take up to 6 weeks holiday per year. 1 week Easter, 2 weeks Summer, 1 week Autumn, 2 weeks Winter.
