'Sam's Little stars childcare’
*We only have before and after school places available at the moment, September 2021*
As being a mother myself i understand how precious your children are to you and how you want to feel fully comfortable with the childcare you choose. So come and meet me and my family and have a chat and see how l provide a warm, safe and friendly atmosphere where your children have quality care and will be treated like part of the family.
We are based in balby near the warmsworth roundabout, this is excellent access to all routes around.
I provide a daily communication book for under 2yr olds where we record what they have eaten, slept, toileting, activities they have done and their general mood which is sent home every night with your child.
We provide stimulating activities and toys for your children and take them out on educational and fun outings.
We have a fab playroom for the children and a very large garden with toys and activities for all ages.
We attend the local sure start child minding groups and local play areas for the children to socialise and mix with others. We also take trips in the outdoors frequently too, the woods and duck pond are our favourite!
We work along the Early Years Foundation Stage for every child and ensure they have lots of opportunities and learn new things, this is all recorded in a learning journal which i provide.
We make fresh home made nutritious meals every day and healthy snacks.
My sister is my assistant and together we work together to achieve all this, she also has an nvq qualifications in childcare and has previously worked in a private day nursery. She has done first aid training and is also a driver.
I live with my husband and our two boys, we are a very loving, loud and happy family!

My Experience
I have over 20 years of experience with working with children in different environments some of these include:
private day nurseries, schools, I have been a children's club entertainer and worked as a private nanny.
I left all this and became a family support worker in a parent assessment centre. I then left there to have my own child in 2009 and now i child mind full time in my lovely home and enjoy every minute of it!

Sam has now looked after my son for almost 3 years and she is truly amazing. She is kind hearted, gentle and caring and knowing that he is well looked after and safe makes being a full time working mum so much easier. I absolutely don't know what I would do without her!
